From a business standpoint, that is creative. From a practical standpoint, that is pretty jacked up, to make money off the fact that the man is dead. I personally would not try to make money off someone's death, but obviously not everybody shares my opinions, otherwise, the world would be too easy.

    Farewell, Michael Jackson.

its sad, but that really was one of the first thoughts when i heard. "people are totally going to exploit this" is what i thought to myself, but i at least thought they would give it a few days... guess some are just hungrier than others.

    Rest in Peace, Michael

Making money from a dead person.

    Seriously this is unethical!

it's not illegal Goran.. but for now, i think we shouldn't be talking about those money stuffs over this person... we should even be paying tribute to him instead. we've lost such a legacy.. the whole world is saddened, at least we'll make part of it even for today? :(

Use the domain for a tribute site. No ads, nothing for sale, just a tribute to the man's work and achievements.

Don't worry. There's no money to be made here. Who's gonna spend 5 minutes filling up some survey just to write something? It's not even an official site.

    RIP MJ

First off the name isn't spelled right, its Michael (not Micheal)

Second, it could be bad then again, it could be good. I used to think when someone dies, its a time of mourning for them but I hear so many people talk about its the time to celebrate their life so yeah.

Now, should you be using the site just to monetize, no! Sure you could place some affiliate links on the page but dedicate the page to relive his life not just for monetizing. For instance, gather some information on his life, share pictures and so fourth.

Bottom line, people are going to purchase these things of Michael to remember him. For instance, one guy on the news was selling T-Shirts in LA outside of UCLA at $20 a pop and sold 300 in less then 4-5 hours. $6,000 isn't too bad if you ask me! But he shouldn't be selling them to make a profit, he should be selling them to celebrate Michael Jackson's life.

Sell his CD's, shirts, mugs, posters, basically anything with his face/name on it. Maybe even make gloves and sell them ! good luck.
