Guys please reveal the secret!!!!

I started my website about 2 months back which runs on wordpress, the website is about finance and technology, daily i write one post about finance/business/sharemarket/technology, i dont seem to get traffic at all, i only get 10 visits per day, google is regularly crawling my website but no visitor from google, how you guys get traffic to your website?? i submitted my website to all popular wesite directories. what are the other ways ? how you guys were doing when your website was 2 months old? it takes time to get traffic to the website? or its something wrong with my website? if its going to take time what should i be doing? please reveal the secret guys. Till now i got 1 click which earned 80 cents.

Since you are updating your blog daily, then you shall use article marketing.
Submit your article to ezine, ezine can drive good traffic

 

there is no secret in adsense,. only simple formula to let you earn in adsense.
content + adsplacement + traffic = Money

2 months is very young, technology and finance topics are super competitive. If you're not patient, might as well give up now.

 

2 months is like 10-50 unique visitor or first time visitor, if they love your stuff they will bookmark it specially if its interesting and very helpful then they will come back to visit again. this means traffic

 

Traffic is the key. I agree that when Google show you no love, which happens when you are a young site, you have to look to other areas. I think free classifieds could be the answer (i'm running some tests at the moment)! You can also benefit from article marketing, relevant forum posting, social bookmarking, social networking etc. Don't put all your eggs in the Google basket.

 

The difference is that I work 8 hours a day, I invest money, I buy products and I test, build and try, I also have 300 websites..

so you want to know the secret? build more, invest more, work harder.

i suggest SEO, if you want there are seo service you can have..

 

Lets say there are 10,000 blogs about Credit Cards. And along comes Joe Public. He makes a blog about Credit Cards. Where should Google rank his new blog about credit cards in with the other 10,000?

Now lets say that all 10,000 know about Adsense and they all want to get rich. So they all do the same stuff... submit articles, write content, submit to directories, blog comment, forum comment, etc. Now what is Google to do... who should they rank highest?

The point is Google is SOFTWARE... it has to figure these things out. Your job is to feed the software what it wants.... and that is the Secret. When you figure that out... you make money.

You don't mention any promotion strategy in your above post, In order to generate traffic to your site, you need to promote it. Building links is one of the most effective methods today, it serves as a vote for your site to search engine results...

Anyway, for now focus on creating quality contents, this will boost your site credibility and usability for your visitors.

 

Well, you should advertise your site.
Use it in your signature.
Also, yahoo answers are a good place to advertise your site. EVen I use them.
Join some other forums and put the link of your site in your signature.

High PR webmaster forum would be Sitepoint. Try also V7N and WTF.

I have never done backlinks, is it similar to link exchange? I have a blog, I am on Twitter, will they make a difference?

Let me say like this, if some one know how to get traffic quickly here then his website will be next to Google! No way you can get traffic quickly! do SEO and regularly update your blog. Instead of writing 5 blog write 1 or 2 content rich blog which will bring traffic. Colely look in to other blogs which has same niche of you. Try to be different from them, do not write blog in same topic.
