I've been doing some link building for a couple of months and my site went from page 20 to page 3 for my targeted keyword. I also went from nothing to PR4. The content is good and the backlinks are all "natural" no blog commenting or anything like that. What I've been doing is contacting other websites with related content and getting them to exchange links with me, most of the time getting follow sitewide links in exchange for nofollow links (I tricked them). Now it seems I've ran out of places to contact. I've done all related keywords and went from page 1 results to like page 7. Any suggestions as to what I might be able to do to get on page 1 for my keyword? Who can I get links from? I have something like 68,000 inlinks from sites PR0 to PR5
[editted: to remove suggestions to improve backlinks] What is the point of NOFOLLOWing the links to the other webmasters you are getting the supposed reciprocal links from? Do you think it is somehow helping your site by screwing them? Matt Cutts just confirmed that NOFOLLOWing links on a page does NOT increase the amount of PR passed out on the other remaining FOLLOWed links anymore. That hasn't worked for a year now. So you might as well FOLLOW their links. 1) NOFOLLOWing them is NOT helping you and 2) they deserve it for linking to you... A man is as good as his word... You must therefore be worthless because your word is worthless.
You have been tricking other honest webmasters. That is not a good thing to do! I like it that you went form PR3 to PR1. In fact I even want you to go to PR0!
