Google Acting Weird for Me

Google is acting unusual for me, in that whenever I click a link to a page from their search engine, I am redirected to an ad page. I have tried this on many different search terms so I know it's not just the individual page's fault. I haven't seen any threads here about this so I assume it's just me; if so, what do you think the problem is?

Does it only happen when you browse Google or with other sites too?
Best thing would be scanning your PC for viruses.

I suppose it very well could be a virus, I'll have to look in to that.

I've had that same problem in the past. Major pain in the butt, can't remember how I removed it but it was some kind of adware/spyware that was on my computer. If I remember correctly you should see a forwarding IP in your history right before you go to that ad page. Try googling that IP for instructions from people how to fix it.
