How Much Time Required For Clearing An Adsense Check In India ???

Well......I have deposited my 1st check on 6/6/09 and now it is 25 june still check is not cleared and my 2nd check is already issued and i think within 2 july ,i will get it. But the bank manager said that my 1st check will take 40 days to clear,such a long time. Means when i will deposit my 2nd check,at that time also my 1st check will be in the process of clearing. This is really bad ,very very bad.

So, i want to know how much time it actually take to clear ???


why adsense does not include India for WU ????

First of all your city should have a Citibank Branch, if not it would normally take at least 1 month.

 

as per RBI guidelines, checks of amount below 20k INR gets cleared in 3+ days time, these types of checks are called depository draft. the ones with amount more than that actually takes time, can take up to 40+ days, however for me it has always been 30+ days.

if you have citi bank in your city, then it should not take more than a few days. there are other options too, for example you open an account in a citi in your country where citi bank is, then send your check by courier to the bank... this idea was actually suggested by the bank manager of my local bank, but who has the time to do all that. I just wait for it to be cleared...

 

i wish there should be Westrn Union method in india too, as it is the most reliable to collect your payment

 

Bank takes just 3 working days.
Let say if you deposited the check on 6th of june in the morning before 11.30 AM, you will get your it cleared on 8th of June. 6th + 7th + 8th = 3 days

If there is no citi bank branch in your city, it will be treated as out station cheque and should be cleared in 15 days.

If still you have not received your money, just go in your banks and ask for clarifications from branch manager.

 

Which city r u from? Please recheck with bank. This is rediulous answer. Even if you live in remote area it wont take more than 15 days. RBI is very scrict on cheque clearance these days.

Dude so far i know foreign cheque take more then 25 days....You might be taking about Indian cheque....

Yes USD...... I think if i get cheque in Indian Rupee also..It will take more then 20 days to clear .

 

For fastest method is go to CITIBANK and OPEN AN ACCOUNT and DEPOSIT IN IT!
All country most fastest method is this:

Citibank: Usually 28~35 days
Local Bank: Usually 39~60 days

If you don't wish to wait, use western union!

 

Dude Are you sure of that , because i never heard of it. Are you getting check in INR and clearing it in 2 - 3 days ???

google gives in citibank.... it does not take that much time...

 

It wont take more than 15 days.Which city r u from?in which bank u submitted ? I think you should change your bank immediately.City bank is a best choice.

Change your Currency in payment details in your Google Adsense account to Indian Rupee. and if you have a CITIBANK branch in your city then it will be cleared in 3 days max.
