with google adsense making me half of what i made in one month last year in the past 3 months and barely covering hosting while traffic has increased i've decided to look for alternate means and affiliate marketing seems to be a great way to go. I've been reading a lot about affiliate marketing lately and some big paychecks to get me motivated , and based on what i've gathered if you are planning to do it with a blog you need tons of traffic, currently i get 20k impressions a month, i don't know how far that could take me, i occasionally review paid software on my blog so for starters i signed up with regnow, shareit, CJ and placed some affiliate links at the bottom of the review masking the links with redirects. That's about how much i've done so far, for the experienced on affiliate marketing who've exploited this income method i'd be grateful if you could share what i could do from here based on what YOU would do from this point, is the traffic i have enough to get me started? what other ways can i promote affiliate marketing other than a blog? is twitter any good? (i have 8k followers) bear in mind, based on my first statement, you'd know i barely have any investment, just to let you know. Any advice, tips, guides, resources would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I really love all the resources that MoreNiche has. However, the products are all very competitive products to try to promote.
Hi Lug, I have just started in this website business myself. I dont know how I will make out but I have to try it. I came across this site about 3 weeks ago and have gotten good response with it as far as putting out free classifieds and submitting it to search engines. You have to read the site to fully understand what it does. In my 3 weeks I have gotten 13 on my downline and about 4 million dollars in loan applications. No money yet, but it looks like it might work. Take a look and let me know what you think. Go to..http://tinyurl.com/mav6pu Bill
Try and get some kind of affiliate program that you think your followers might be interested in. Link some places in your profile to the aff links along with giving some kind of broadcast. Be on the up and up though man, I heard several people were getting banned on twitter for promoting too much. Just be wise about it.
Yes,they get banned from purely advertising and not contributing to the site. There are lots of ways to promote your site and keep in mind to do it in a white hat way.
Yes they are, which has pros and cons attached to it. Ultimately the popular products will have the most traffic (typically). The money however is to find the niche's within the popular product groups. I.e. Specific long tail keywords, promoting the site to a particular group of people etc etc.
Gosh I came in here expecting to find some decent information....one person replies with 'Visit my website' which from the looks of the signature deals with male enhancement crap and then two people that promote the original website mentioned- to visit the actual site. LOL. On a more personal note... if you tried doing affiliate marketing the normal way you will quickly realize that the only people making it big has a lot of money, or time or the resources to do it. If you are competing with xxxx amount of people...not really worth it unless you can present it in a way that will make people beg for more. But if you have a list...you might be more successful. Look at internet marketing as a whole package not just drips and drabs. You need to incorporate several things for your websites to do good.
Know what is the in demand product and what the people always buy.Practically speaking,if you will put yourself in your customer shoes.what kind of product will you buy?
