Hi all! I have a quick question to ask... I am in the process of starting a business/site that is similar to getafreelancer.com, etc. Basically a site where you can list and bid on jobs such as webdesign, programming, copywriting, etc. What does everyone think about sites like this? Would you be willing to use a new site? At this point I have garnered a decent amount of interest. Here are some features.. 1. No listing fees 2. Buyer and seller both pay a small commission on selling price. For example somewhere in the range of 3%. $100 job would be only $3. 3. Incentives for members that do the most business, list the most jobs. Let me know what you think. PM me if you want to talk more; I would love to hear more ideas! Thanks!
Could you expand a bit on that comment? Why do you believe that it is saturated? Do you think there may be room for a smaller alternative to the big boys? Gimme some feedback!!!
No, I don't think. Do you a quick search on Google with the words "freelance projects" or "freelance jobs" to get an idea on how many hundreds of thousands websites of the kind they are. Now, imagine this. You are a new player. Your website age is 0. How would you come up on top of these keywords?
