    Hi all!

I have a quick question to ask...

I am in the process of starting a business/site that is similar to getafreelancer.com, etc. Basically a site where you can list and bid on jobs such as webdesign, programming, copywriting, etc.

What does everyone think about sites like this?
Would you be willing to use a new site?

At this point I have garnered a decent amount of interest. Here are some features..

    1. No listing fees
    2. Buyer and seller both pay a small commission on selling price. For example somewhere in the range of 3%. $100 job would be only $3.
    3. Incentives for members that do the most business, list the most jobs.

Let me know what you think. PM me if you want to talk more; I would love to hear more ideas!

    Thanks!

This market is already saturated. Trust me on that.

Could you expand a bit on that comment? Why do you believe that it is saturated?

Do you think there may be room for a smaller alternative to the big boys?

    Gimme some feedback!!!

No, I don't think. Do you a quick search on Google with the words "freelance projects" or "freelance jobs" to get an idea on how many hundreds of thousands websites of the kind they are. :D
Now, imagine this. You are a new player. Your website age is 0. How would you come up on top of these keywords?

How are you doing it? You have a relatively new site?
