Guys I am planning to develop a new website from scratch and definitely I will place AdSense ads on it. During development I will upload files and see online if every thing is fine and I will do this again and again. Is this risky with AdSense code to do this? Or I should add AdSense code at the end once every thing if finished. But without place ads I can't judge space allocation. Guide me how to do this? Thank you GCS
Screen capture an image of the ad format you want to use and place that in your page-code at the appropriate place. That way you'll see how it looks, but won't inflate your impressions or risk clicking them.
You will inflate your impressions a bit by in reality, most people place Adwords and continue developing their website so I do not see any need to be alarmed. However, I do like Adpubster's idea very much.
I suggest that you try it just a couple of times. I do not think there will be any problem with low impressions.
copy image from you adsense account (sample) and place it into developing page! if you keep running adsense in LOCALHOST, you will get BAN! so...
you can do it. absolutely no problem, no risk. as long as you don't accidentally click on the ads ... which I did twice ... but they still didn't ban me =3 I've been doing that to my sites for more than 2 years. with AdSense already implemented and checking the site as I modify them. sometimes I have to visit my site for like 50-100 times (with AdSense implemented). so don't even worry about it. my suggestion (and how I deal with AdSense size) is to create tables and set them the same size as your AdSense ads. that way you can easily make sure the pages will look the way you want in the end.
