Does any know why Google updat PR so ofen these months?

To compare with last year G PR's changes
I found G update PR more often these months.
Any one know why?
or Any good?

I think Google is heavily into some serious experimentation and is testing its results by frequent updation of the same in the front end.

Last PR update has been somewhat erratic with many sites getting a very good rank, only to lose them after several days! Even today's update has seen lot of new sites directly jumping to PR 4 or even PR5! Let us see how long they manage to hold on to the same!

Well maybe they are changing the PR algorithm so probably updating it again and again

 

Because of Bing! So bing.com can move form PR2 to PR9! Just kidding, but should be considered as a reason.

I am pretty sure it has something to do with a certain "decision engine" by Microsoft

Now Googel start updating PR monthly.. LAst month updated.. and today tooo

 

Probably a change to the algo. Page Rank is important to Google and can help with SERPS a great deal, believe me. Google has confirmed this themselves.

 

As we know, PR is about mass calculation. So, if Google change PR more often, it means one or more things in the following:

1: Google has more CPU power
2: PR algorithm has been changed or compromised
3: Google only calculation potion of urls compare before
4: Google can update PR more often if they want, now they just did

which one do you think?

yes, point #3 might more possible

 

Shall ask google but shorten the update period is good for all the website.
The quality site can have their PR in short time and those website involved in link sales will drop the PR fast.

 

Could possibly because of upgrade on their system and datacenters, and it's actually good for us.

 

Well I believe in some comments above, that Google maybe in some experimentation on their algo that's why its PR update is frequent.

 

Not sure what you are talking about.. but we are having the updates in regular intervals.

 

I am not complaining every pr rank update this year i have moved up 1

 

They can often update if it increase my PR everytime.
