On our Webmasters Gossip Forum we were not doing any good in search engine rankings so we decided to change the domain and also worked on SEO very much. We switched to this new domain on 7th June, 2009 and just within 17 days we have got PR2 with these stats Indexed Pages: 800+ Backlinks: 12+ PR: 2 Isn't it a great achievement because 17 days are really a very short time to get a PR2 What do you say?
That's the secret I mean there is nothing blackhat method or something like that, but I paid big bucks for SEO work to get higher rank than my competitors and disclosing that technique is not good
this aint a real updates man, google just doing regular updatees algo, its been said on another thread, the major updates are 3 months, dont get wounded when google send u back to pr 0, to what your site shoud get.

The site only has about 100 links, but two are PR8 so going PR7 in 15 days kind of makes sense. I just didn't think it would be so soon.
You must be using vbSEO on your forum and most probably because your web pages were already indexed by Google with your previous domain. Don't you think you'll have problems since Google will recognize it as duplicate content?
