Ads wouldn't be blocked if they were hosted on the same domain and posted as simple images.

Of course this limits sites without good server conditions.

Its Google's fault. They turned good ads into forceful ads.

There is no way that Google will put up with losing income when It's only people like us who put so much free content out there.

Ok so first of all i was just giving the other point of view so dont take any personal offense from your reply i felt you did anyways

Lets come to the point now

    You Said

I consider AdBlock like stealing. Websites are made free to view thanks to ads, and ads are the user's ways of 'paying' for the content. If you are blocking the ads, it's like watching a movie without paying for it. You are using the webmaster's content, and the webmaster get's no compensation for it.
    Code (markup):
Not all people in the world use adsense to show ads and earn money from thier site and this software blocks ads of most of the companies so offcourse it affects unless u want to say that if a user is not using adsense its allowed to block his ads and enjoy the site for free.. Yes offourse its wrong to block banner ads i mean common its of no harm but these same softwares also block annoying popups etc (Offcourse popups and stuff are also part of revenue of some sites)

Neways thanks for listening and once again dont take any offense :D

This is the exact reason adblock doesn't bother me. Tech savvy people almost never click ads to begin with so why get upset that they don't see your ads. Really its just doing you a favor with potentially raising your CTR.

there are so many scripts to stop adblock. i.e. and opera etc. if they come with a browser which allows to stop showing a spersific kind of javascript-iframe, then what the hell we will do. i hope it's result will not be like music-movies. out there nobody care the others. so just saying please dont do this and telling its cost doesnt stop any people(!) from using this.

Your numbers suggest that 62.5% of your visitors use adblock with firefox. I'm betting only about 45% at most are using Firefox on your site, and even 50% using adblock???? I doubt it. Most people don't have a clue about ad-ons.

People keep saying that they are blind to the ads so it doesn't make a difference, but what about all those people who run CPM ads? Every impression counts for these sites. As I said, just can't wait to hear about a mod that blocks these ad blockers for good.:)

BS. Everyone who users it is part of the problem, especially Firefox who endorse it.

Magazines and newspapers wouldn't last two minutes if the adverts were stripped from their pages. If this did go mainstream, with blogs and websites getting ads stripped, they wouldn't be able to pay for advertising, domain, hosting, labour and then they'll crash and burn.

If it wasn't for a few SEO mods with Firefox I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. This is why Chrome and I.E should have more support for the future.
