I absolutely love card games, and poker is such an oldie... really gained popularity with the internet. Not really into the idea of losing $100,000 though. Free or penny Poker will do me fine for now.
this thread proves ... Poker is not going anywhere http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=1128300
I love poker too! I have to admit though that I have started getting bored lately. The craze has definetely started to go away now too... Less people are getting involved and more people have stopped playing.
I do, and I feel its getting worse. I just started playing poker and has been kind of successfull with it and won quite alot sit-and-gos, but of course you boost up your confidence and start betting more and play with the big guys and you loose it all again. The story of my poker life! //Andreas
its on TV too much. It used to be fun to watch cuz you couldn't see it very often. Now every channel has its own poker show and its getting played out.
If anything, I think its getting more popular The rooms seem to have more and more people online and I talk to more poeple that are starting to play poker everyday. Andreas, you just have to remind yourself to stay within your limits until you have a bankroll that is big enough to move up, that's a problem a lot of people have and if you can teach yourself to do that, you will make a lot more in the long run
I sure love Poker If you like, I can set up a FREEROLL for DP members. There will not be any requirements to play, and all money won is real money. If there are 10 - 19 that want to play the DP FreeRoll, I will set up a $100 FreeRoll If there are 20 - 39 I will set up a $150 FreeRoll and if there are 40 or more I will set up a $200 FreeRoll. The tournament will be password protected, and I will post the password in DP forum. To let me know if people want a DP members Tournament and to help me decide the size of the prize pool, just give a quick reply here saying " I will play the DP FreeRoll" If this is of any interest I will post date, time and password for the FreeRoll.
