Don't worry about buying the stock. I understand what you are doing, but it does look weird =). My only other recommendation is that you frame "compare rates in minutes," "zip code" and the button into one box and have it really stick out. The quote box is the revenue of the site so the eye has to immediately go to it.

Erthy: I really like both these designs, but I definitely like the girl (nice job adding the key). My only advice is that you need to have the zip code and search bar really stick out. I would make the "Go" button an orange and bigger. I would put colored box behind it all.

harizd: Both designs do not quite meet what I am looking for. The cartoon needs to corrolate to the auto insurance industry. Thanks, thoughk, for your efforts.

By design do you mean my layout or just the cartoon you are looking for. If its just the cartoon then i can show some variations by searching more.

 

If you can wait for 7-8 hours more, I will come back with a better layout and cartoon as well

lizzy4: Nice hand drawn mascot. However, it doesn't fit with auto insurance.

harizd: Sorry, my feedback for you was actually meant for a different designer. Yes, the cartoon does need to be more focused towards the auto insurance industry. However, I do like how you framed the cartoon with the quote. I don't see me closing the contest for at least 12 hours, so you should be okay.

Itaydr: The line under the "Compare rates in Minutes" isn't what I had in mind. I was thinking more that you take "Compare rates in Minutes" and everything under it and put a red or orange box behind it. That way it looks like the girl is pointing to the box. Also, could you remove the light blue globe on the right side, it doesn't fit.

I made a kind of a orange "box" and also removed the strange had to the girl because it looks ok with it

I'll perhaps do another revision in a few hours if the contest is still underway.

 

Itaydr: Yes, the hand looks much better . You have the right idea with the box. If you could smooth the edges so it doesn't look like it is rough. Also, could you make the girl's waist not be gradient.

Erthy: I am really liking your design. I recommend, though, including the text about the "zip code" in the box. So, that the text and search are all in a box.

emzdesign: Thanks for your submission. Here are some of my thoughts. First, the logo needs to be bigger. Second, remove "Pruduct" from the form (I only need "Zip Code"). Other than that it looks good.

Itaydr: Yes that is what I was talking about. No more changes needed. Your design is being considered.

shinan: Very cool blog design. Really like the 3D Headers. However, I don't care for the global background (this is a U.S. site) or the pink haired lady.

 

Unfortunately, I cannot put this contest on hold for several days. However, I three more contest I will be doing so I look forward to your submissions in my future contests.

 

So basically.. the changes I need to make are the header background and the lady right?
