    Hi,

I had a bad experience with Yahoo! web hosting.
Now, I want to move to other hosters.

What is the best hosting company on the globe you think?
Regards of prices, support, reputation and all.

What is your experience with them, if any?

Yes, hostgator is one of the top web hosting company. Although they oversell their web hosting pakages but their uptime is stable and they won't let you down for a second.

    Best regards

You can try mediatemple...it is costly but their quality is very good...

name.com and namecheap.com are also good web hosting companies..

Really, there are all sorts of varieties when it comes to web hosting. Ranging from unreliable but insanely cheap, to reliable and the price shows it. It really depends on the chance you want to take - if any? There are others as well where quality and affordability meet ;)

I don't think their is a "best" webhost, but their are a lot of good ones. Then again, their are a lot of cheap unreliable ones.

Since you were unhappy with your previous host, I would be willing to give you 3 months of free webhosting so that you can try our services out. We're fairly new to the webhosting world, but we aren't new a lot of the people around the internet and on this forum. We've been designing websites for around 7 years. We just started getting into the hosting business a few months ago because a lot of our customers that needed websites designed also needed a good web host. If you want to give us try just send me a PM. Also, since you are a DigitalPoint member, after your 3 months is up we'll give you a coupon code to get 50% off our monthly price that's posted on our site, every month. :)

yahoo is a terrible host and registrar lol, I actually started out with them a while ago and I still regret wasting my time.

what kind of a budget are you working with now? and as hammer pointed out - there is no best web host, it all depends on what works best for you and only you. What's awesome for you could be terrible for someone else and vice versa.

I'm currently offering the next twenty clients a free month of hosting on our basic 'personal plan A' with the promotion code " dpfree " (without the quotes). That way they can be reassured that we at hosting-asap offer the real deal when it comes to quality and affordable web hosting.

HostGator are top notch and even though they do oversell, they have enough power to do it!

If you are looking for a good solution that are as good go with HawkHost - www.hawkhost.com

I recommend HawkHost because they run on Lightspeed, allowing great server loads!

Have a piece of paper and write down your needs. I suppose you need to know what you are looking for.

Good call... It helps to go through all of your requirements to help narrow it down.

    What was the "bad experience"?

In terms of price, support, rep, and of course longevity (over 12 years) http://hostinglizard.com

A biased opinion? Perhaps, but thousands of customers can't be wrong...
