$65 One Page Design For InsuranceSpotlight.org (Uncoded)

I need a one page design (uncoded) for insurancespotlight.org. This site will be about reviews on car insurance companies.

I would really like a blend between these web sites:
eSurance.com
MedicalInsurance.net
CheapCarInsurance.net

With all the sites I like how there is a cartoon-ish character in the design. Also, I need to have the quote submission form that you see in all three of the designs. The winning design will implement something along those lines.

I have already had the logo designed. Below is a link to the zip file that holds the different formats of the logo (ai, eps, png, and psd) that you are welcome to use.

Hi , I will try to get an entry in as soon as I can. Are there any other requirements that you need for the page design ? Besides a nice cartoon character and the quote button, waht else would you need? Any other buttons?

 

The only other thing I can think of is to blend a blog layout like this site, that would be great!

I just put some random stuff in the sidebar as i had to rush to my office. So, please do not consider it to be kind of empty and insignificant as far as the sidebar is concerned. I will fix it tonight.

harizd: The design is okay, but you are missing the cartoon character needed.

bdaa: Thanks for your submission, but your design is not something I am looking for.

Erthy: You are closer than anyone else so far, but your cartoon character doesn't fit with car insurance.

Itaydr: I like your cartoon girl, but the green box doesn't work. I would remove the box and have her pointing to the quote form. Also, the quote form needs a box behind it, so that it is easier to see.

 

Oh alight. I thought we are not allowed to use stock images :-|
I'll revise my submission.

Itaydr: I like your changes here. A few more suggestions. First, remove the stamp that says "3 Min and You Get the Quote." It distracts the eye. Second, you only need one field "Zip Code" (remove Product). Third, make the text "Zip Code" much bigger and the field bigger as well. Finally, your cartoon girl isn't pointing to anything. Maybe move the form closer to her so that she could be pointing to the form. Hope this helps.

I made the changes but:

- I didn't make the field under the "Zip Code" bigger because it will look strange if I will do it.
- I "added" a kind of hand to the cartoon girl so it may looks funny but if the design will be the winner, we can buy a bigger verision of the picture and then it will look normal.

Itaydr: Wow! That hand does look strange! I understand though that if you are the winner it won't look like that. Question: Why is her waist faded? Can you have her figure go all the way to the edge of the border?

 

Penny, the picture of the girl is form iSTOCKPHOTO. After he wins you need to buy licence.

 

Thanks lizzy4. I have had to do the same thing with another website I had designed a while ago. So, I am aware the additional licensing fee. However, I appreciate you saying something. I know a lot of newbies are not aware of this.
