i had a similar instance where click thru is high content is good and people got exactly what i was advertising (a whole site not just landing page or signup) but now google wants me to pay 5.00 or 10.00 i just gave up after having conversation with them... luckily i have my sites diversified so it didnt effect me much.
Hey, look everyone, it's that great businessman AEIO. He writes articles for $3.50 an hour and then mocks small business owners who have their revenue stream shut off by a $100B gorilla of a company. It sure is good to have your brilliant and enlightening input. Trust me on this one, though, hoss, Google doesn't need your support.
LOL. Does it take you 2 hours to write a 300 word article? No wonder you have problems. Listen... You flat out lied when you came here and claimed Google bumped your rates up saying you had a quality site. It turns out all you had was a form for people to give you am e-mail address. Your site sucks. Your business knowledge and methodolgy sucks. You can try and berate me all you want, but realize you are the one who is whining and crying here like a 6 year old. Time to step up and learn how to actually run and manage a business. I am done trying to explain this to you. This is clearly the new "Google banned me from adsense for no reason." It is amazing today that I have seen no less than 4 people who previously claimed they had quality sites who got reviewed and it turned out there entire site was a form asking for an e-mail address that was required before giving any more information. It is ridiculous. If you think Google is going to miss the likes of you, your even less savy than your posts indicate, and that is a big accomplishment. By the way Rich.. I am available to fix your business for you. Just send me a PM and we can work out a fee structure and I will straighten it out for you while you remain blissfully ignorant of all things related to business.
Hmmm, let's see. KingCarlos has 2 posts, both in this forum and AEI is "his kind of dude/dudette" "whoever he is". Very interesting. King Carlos even writes exactly like AEI with the same grammatical issues that AEI displays. Your vs. You're, etc. That's an amazing coincidence. Could King Carlos and AEI be the same person? No, that's not possible, or is it?
doubtful, I use all 3, here is my grip blog post about Yahoo! and MSN adCenter Top 5 WTF\\\'s for Yahoo and MSN PPC Programs
Feel free to contact any number of people whom I have written articles for in the past. If you think someone you are paying $5.00 for a 300 word article is spending 2 hours on it, you are delusional.
Rich how old are you? You come across as extremely immature, so I have to guess you are shy of your 20th birthday. Why did you come to Digitalpoint in the first place? To whine about your e-mail form business being smacked down by Google? You might come to realize that Digital Point is not the best place to be a whiny-crybaby-peepants. There are other webmaster forums that cater to the likes of you, but this is not one of them.... Just keep that in mind. As for King Carlos being me that is amusing.. I also got some other PMs from people who appreciated what I had to say... I thousands of posts and a year of being here that has rarely happened before... You must really be bad off. I have never had the need nor the desire to login to Digital Point with another account. I have nothing to hide. Why don't you scurry back under the rock you were living under before you stumbled upon Digital Point? Or you could just stick around and continue to display your ignorance and short-comings when running a business. It is interesting to me that some of the people who are in this thread and in others arguing this issue and whose opinion I respect, yet disagree with on this matter, have seemingly abandoned you Rich. I can surmise one thing from that.
TBH I had no idea how much you charge for articles. Yeah, I wouldn't expect much for $5 I guess (but then I wouldn't consider paying only $5 for a 300 word article) No hard feelings
I received a reply from them as well. they said that their "Landing Page Quality Specialists" have reviewed my site and stated: here is a sample of my landing page: http://iloancalculator.com/calculators/required_income_mortgage_calc.html does this look like a MFA site to you? Im sorry, but this is just plain wrong. some of the current top placements for my keywords display NOTHING BUT ADS and yet they remain unaffected. Im certain that they are not paying $10/click. tell me people that Im wrong. I hope Im missing something here.
Wow! This thread has featured even in searchenginewatch.com http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=3622950 It really is a big issue for serious advertisers. Congrats Richa! Your voice is getting support.
Wow, that is a very nice site. I am totally baffled by your case. In my case, I WAS assuming (before I saw your case) that it was an issue with a lack of overall content on my site. But you have a PR5 site full of content. I think this is just further evidence that the manual review is nonsense. Google isn't really going to overturn the decision made by the HAL9000. Can anyone cite an example of Google reversing the decision after a manual review? I am guessing here, but I'll bet that they don't have a way in place to override their algorithm. I mean, even if they do, will that override stay in place through the next update of the algorithm? Or even the next scheduled review of your site? I am currently working on putting up a new site - mainly as a natural search results site, but I will also try to run it on Adwords. It's pretty much the same as the site they've banned, but with good keyword rich content throughout - not on the landing pages, however. I'm simply going to change my URL's on my ads and wait and see if they clear me. I'll post my results.
seodehli, Thanks for the heads up on that post at searchengine watch. That was a well written synopsis of this issue.
I liked your site. It had some good info, very basic, but good info. If the only way you have to make money is through the Adsense ads, then I'm sorry for you. It seems like Adsense in this case is doing its job: enabling customers to get some content for free. No different than ads on TV. Basically, Google has decided that they don't find Adsense very valuable for searchers...kinda funny since they invented them. But, I've never had very good CTR's or ROI from being an Adsense advertiser anyway. But again, it seems like you were using Adsense "the right way," i.e., providing your readers with something for free because of revenue from ads. Is Google saying here they don't believe in the "advertising pays for content" model anymore?
