And in about 5 other threads, and in the 7 pages of posts preceding your post in this thread, which is what the "one in every crowd" comment was about.

Last time I checked I didn't see a request for co-op users to donate to life preservers or life boats!!! Is this new?

Just now (July 25), I begin to see my site come back from Google Hell. When I search for my site (without dot com), I am #1 again. It was nowhere to be found for the last 4 weeks.

I am now seeing my keywords back on first page (not as high as before though). I am happy..

The only thing I did is remove Co-op from my site and submit an re-inclusion.

Nope, parenting-101 is not the site that was banned. I manage about 20 different sites.

So if you think that the coop will get a site banned, why do you continue to use it?

BTW, your link is broken in your sig. You mispelled the domain.

I only use co-op on certain (less important sites). I now use the "nofollow" tag

That's hilarious. So Google only bans important sites that are using the coop...hahaha

Well we all know Google wants to view the COOP network as a link network and I think they have nailed down the coop network. Is it a right thing to do? Nope. But Google is pretty much evil right? :D

    EDIT: I forgot to ask.

Wouldn't submitting your sites to link directories ahve the same positive and negative affets as teh co-op network?

My sites SERP's came back today. I removed the Coop ad's from the site about 40 days ago. I submitted a reinclusion request about 25-30 days ago. My site finally started showing up as number one for the site's name last week, and my targeted keywords are all back to their old positions before this mess started as of this morning.

Has anyone else seen improvements today or over the weekend? If you have did you submit a reinclusion request? Did you remove the Coop Network ads?

    Something along the lines of:

I didn't keep an exact copy around, but that pretty much sums up what I sent them.
