I take that as an insult. Of course 98-99% of the US Army hasn't tortured anyone you twit!! Did I say that...ummm no! In fact I don't blame the military for this at all, they follow their orders as they should. I was merely inserting a word that's been thrown around, and has occurred.

Hostlonestat, I wont stoop to your level, if I would this post wouldn't be able to contain all of the curse words I'm currently thinking of you with.
See my sig, I am a Member of the US Military! Think before you go and insult another person!

*SIGH* screw you all. When there's no hypocrites, or bigots in the thread you gang up on your own. I see how it is, screw it, I'm done with the politics forums for a while.

I think you two are just experiencing a minor misunderstanding.

Will is correct. It seems that there is a minor misunderstanding.

Considering the fact the internet doesn't allow for sarcasm, and you said now if you say torture, or words to that effect, what do you expect me to think?

And it doesn't matter what orders that come down, if you are in the Air Force (like you said you were) than you would know that military members are obligated to disobey unlawful orders and report it through their chain of command. There is no if's and's or but's. You don't do that, you are considered as a willful participant. This is one of those things you learn working for CID (Army's equivalent of AFOSI).

And, you really shouldn't stoop to rep hit and runs.

    This is actually not true.

Jesus and the apostles were drinking wine at the last supper. Is Jesus a bad example of a Christian?

I am very confused these days. One of the e-Jihadists from DP has joined a private adult forum I'm a member of.

He wants to kill all non-believers, and now he's running porn sites.

Apparently the 9-11 bombers spent some of their last hours in the strip clubs of Las Vegas. To think that if the strippers had just had a little more time with those guys, they might have averted disaster. I've always said you should give those needy girls as much as possible.

It's kind of interesting when people say all religions prohibits this and that. The truth is all religions are different and the doctrines we practice now is way different than the religious doctrines when it was made.

But they do have a point. Convergence evolution means religions are converging, as tools to blame others via nonsense.

Now, Jesus turn water into wine. So he's a wine producer and consumer. Still in US it's the Christian that want to ban beer.

I guess all religious people are just bigots inside.

The Nazis don't stop killing people just because you love them. In fact it took violence and war to stop the Nazis.

Bombing Germany is not doing good to them. If we listened to these selected quotes, the Nazis would have killed millions more people and taken over Europe.

"love your enemies" is one of the most perverse and sordid thing ever written. Of course, christians don;t actually live by this, they hate their enemies more than most people do, but like well trained dogs they have been brainwashed in to trotting this tripe out without actually thinking about it.

    Amen brother. :D

It amazes me how people can let propaganda cloud their judgment to the point where they deny basic realities like this.

Of course, that hippie Jesus didn't help one bit. At times I envy the Islamists. Their messiah was a warlord who murdered people both for profit and pleasure. This practical grounding in the dirtiness of the real world kept the Islamists from being infected with the peacenik idealism of Jesus.

I just wish there was a better middle ground for the billions of people who need some sort of religion in their lives. On the one hand we have the hippies and on the other hand we have warlords. It seems to me that there's a big middle ground that isn't being well served.

I'm already exploiting that void by providing my own religion (Texas Redneck) as a middle ground.

We don't believe in turning the other cheek a lot, and while we don't advocate killing members of other religions just for the hell of it, we firmly support killing those folks that desperately need it... Fascist dictators, convicted felons, guys who bring "wine coolers" on camping trips, anyone that makes "Mexican food" without jalepenos, most lawyers, etc....

Give us time, it'll catch on. ;)

"love your enemies" is sort of like taken the moral higher ground or being "the better man", "turn the other cheek" sort of speak.

Are you and your friends trying to fill the middle ground by being a loud mouth sissy?

It is funny how you had for 8 years chance to practice what you preach and do some killings but in all that time you just hided under your bed while running your mouth and preaching fighting. :D

Gandhi chilled out and the British left India? It is not necessarily walking all over a person. "Love your enemies" can be interpreted as a non-violent, non-revengeful or non-avengful.
