darn it, you gave my secrets away :D

Unfortunately it is strange that not all the search engines actually show all the backlinks, Google is the worse for this.

I suppose in general regards to competition this is a good thing.

Trying using a proxy for searches if you are getting banned.

inurl:naomiwelsh would be a good method to find some of them also.

Relevance is not that important since your profile page will only contain 1 - 2 outgoing links and yours will one of them. Sure if it was relevant you would be more effective, it is not denying this. But in the initial instance this method is great and once you have gained the momentum and generated some income you can look at theme based targeted backlinking to keep the spot.

I have no problem in giving out as much as I can. However it is about strategy and just giving it all out is not enough. People have to be willing to tweak and improve how they go about doing. I certainly have and looking at extreme performance.

Tyler has sent me some pm's and he is blazing amazingly across the serps fluctuating around 9/10 in google. He is hoping to be able to get a dpuble income for him and his family and looking at highter ctr and potentially with more money on the side and better strategies will be targeting other niches.

I love to hear people really getting on with it and making progress, I think he only asked once for an opinion or advice and just really got on with it in his spare time. There is enough material here now for anyone to go and sought out these pr sites. I on the other end have really tweaked it but that's what I do , so you would have to move at my speed to catch up.

This trat reminds me of link wheeling. In fact, it is :D The only difference is that the web 2.0 properties are not interlinked.

Couple of my personal points to this topic:

#1.) Google does not take into consideration the "nofollow" attribute anymore! (like they would ever...!) Haven't you read it? They finally Officially admitted it! Check that Google guy Matt "Something" blog - should be there as well

So you can stop fretting about "dofollow" blogs,
but if you Still want to use just those, just search for blogs which have the Dofollow WordPress plugin installed.
or use Yahoo Site Explorer, or Alexa, or CommentSniper - has a free version
or any other of these Blog Searchers scripts around

#2.) Social sites profiles and so called "spamming" = What is it about?
I thought that the Original PURPOSE of all these Time-Wasters (pardon: "Social Networking sites") Is to have as many people registered with them as possible! This is actually what brought them to the Top of rankings in the first place, isn't it?

So if 3000 new people register today at Whatever Web2.0 High PR website How do the site decide which ones are 'spammers' and which ones are 'ok - true goody-shoes' ?
[Of course IF the registrants just do whatever they are supposed to do = like f.e. create their profile pages about info and upload pics etc... I actually encountered couple of these Social sites which were bugging me if I didn't create my profile/uploaded something...]

Anyway, all this Big hogo-pogo about all these Backlink packages, and blog comments etc etc is Nothing new! It is just the same Backlinking strategies which are/were working ever since Google came on scene. One of the first products to talk about it is the 'old' Revenge of Mininet. The only difference is that at those days we had to spend a Looots of money to get our own mininets on different ips, pay lots of hosting fees etc. These days it's thousand times cheaper and easier. You just parasite on all those above mentioned useless Web2.0 TimeWasters.

Nothing new - the Main thing is to create as many different backlinks as possible to your properties you want to rank high.
Don't you guys have all these - free even - Web2.0 "bibles" or whatever they call them - which are basically just lists of high PR web2.0 properties....?

And yes even comment posts work, I have couple of sites which PR suddenly increased just because I posted couple of useful comments and linked to my sites (even just name, no 'anchor text') and to this day I don't even know (don't care) if those blogs had/have dofollow or nofollow. But it worked regardless

#3.) as a summary: Yes, I Believe whatever the inet said Does work IF you work on it.

    D

Ok, I've just read the tyler_durden comment, and yes, I have to agree with him. Never realized, as I Always do it automatically the way he recommends, so never had any profile deleted.

Fantastic and brilliant insight, really appreciate it!

You will however be banging about the nofollow issue forever with most people who believe the status Quo regards to nofollow and religiously conformed between the nofollow/dofollow debate and will not budge unless you confirm the link as a dofollow.

Yeah, read Matt Cutts recent take on it and also did an experiment with just wikipedia links a while ago and got indexed and ranking in Google for keyword.

Absolutely right that this is normal practice since day one and people should not be afraid to use it since it is not blackhat.

Not really, he was talking about google.com, where you can create a profile page however adding a link also has the nofollow attribute so it means nothing.

Definitely a really nice share of knowledge by inet here. Thanks man!

I just wanted to add my thoughts on all the backlink building strategy details. It's regarding nofollow links - I really think you should not entirely skip nofollow blogs and web 2.0 profile pages. First of all those tags are not recognized by some search engines, so nofollow links will have the same effect as dofollow ones, and second, regarding Google, your backlink growth can seem unnatural you know? Like if all your backlinks are dofollow, and since there are so many sites now that have embraced the 'nofollow' tag.

Anyway, just something to think about. Hope I've helped someone.
