Google does not care about links proof inside.

    Can anyone tell me why I rank where I rank for the keywords "Cedar City Real Estate"

    My Site www.cedarcityonline.com My backlinks 26

    My Competitors

    www. c21first.com Backlinks 4
    www. cedarcityrealtor.com backlinks 3
    www. cedar-city-utah.com backlinks 0
    www. utahmountains.com backlinks 15 (10 outta these 15 are from her site)

    I realize I am being penalized for the age of site and backlinks but it seem there must be something else going on in google. I am ranking in the 90's while these sites are all in the top 5. I have all original content and I have done On Page SEO. Anyways I am just getting frusterated at this whole process. Any help would be appriciated.

    Have you just update your page title? If so then the rankings will get better. Good move.

    Buy some links with the keywords in the anchor text and try to get mentioned on some blogs.

    Thank you for all the posts and comments. I dont quite understand the "Besides you use all DIVs maybe GoogleBot can't figure out the text out of it and you get way back because of low percentage of content" Could you maybe elaborate on this and keep in mind you are talking with an ameture. I am going to see if I cant get a couple more real estate related links for the site but the links dont seem to be helping anyways. This is why I am frusterated. I mean I have 7 or 8 times the amount of links as my competitors but still no rankings. Does anyone else have any ideas that could maybe help me figure out what is going on.

    Well, GoogleBot counts also the percentage of TEXT compared to the code of your site (if I am not mistaken), and sees how much useful information you have on it.

    You have placed your content (texts) in
    <div></div>

    maybe the bot can't figure out that it is text, and sees it as code

    try to have a G Sitemap then you can see what is what....

    Thanks for the help does anyone else have reason why I would not be ranking within google even though my site has much better SEO, Content, and links then my competitors?
    Any help would be great.
