I turned to here: http://www.listsofbests.com/lists/home/movies , whenever I need a movie recommendation. I saw JuneBug lately, really good.
I'm on a similar deal with EasyCinema - cheaper than FrontRow etc. and really convenient, getting to keep the DVD for as long as you want. I went on a rampage and added 100 titles in one go - that will last me till 2010. Will keep an eye on this thread though. Saw is pretty interesting, II is good as well if it's out already. I just watched Supersize Me via this and can recommend it I'm really crap at remembering movie titles so what am I doing here anyway?!
I heard Shawn likes Meet The Fokkers Seriously though, City Of God, one of the best movies I've ever seen.
Braveheart Last of the Mohicans The Patriot Wild Wild West Man in Black Man in Black II Pirates of the Carribean
Rushmore,The Royal Tenenbaums, before sunset/sunrise, American History X, y tu mama tambien, Requiem for a Dream, dark city, ed wood, boogie night, Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels... if you are going to watch Battle Royale, watch ichi the killer and Neighborhood 13
Made http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0227005/ Punkin http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265591/ if you want to see Christina Ricci kiss a retarded kid. Mulletville http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0352600/ Spun http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283003/ Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120669/
Crash, Flight Plan, Inside Man Saw II Papillion (old classic Steve McQueen) Shawshank Redemption Kung Fu Hustle (totally weird but very funny) Hannibal Cape Fear Delicatessen (again weird but funny) Shaft Jackie Brown I don't suppose you are into animation much but if your sharing your tv screen with anyone who is - Spirit - Stallion of Cimmarron, Shrek (1 and 2), Monsters, Inc. are all good kids movies that throw a bone to adults too.
Did you think so? I liked it far better than BB Mountain which was like watching paint dry. Slowly. On a humid day. A couple I forgot are 11:14. (I think the full name might be 11:14 Final Destination) Million Dollar Baby
I thought NetFlix was a US based company... It's really popular here too. Really pissing BlockBuster off. Anything with Will Ferrell in it = a must see.
