Google did not have an established search site pointing directly to it, nor a large company supporting it. Google grew from scratch on its own. Marketing detracts from results. Results are better on Yahoo and Google than on Bing. If you want good results, do not use Bing. If you want to follow the hype and be lead by the nose by Microsoft, use Bing.
I've just switched my default search to Bing in Firefox. I've been using it for two days and so far so good. I'll probably compare the results over time but I really want to give Bing a chance for now.
I try use Bing for a day just because it is new search engine from microsoft. However, i go back to google since google still the best search engine up to date
I've been meaning to give Bing a fair shot but it's tough to remember to use it for searching when you're so used to going to Google automatically. Like others, I'll probably have to switch my default search engine to try it out for a week or so. It never hurts to check out new tech (thoroughly).
Yeeeeaaahhhhh. Bing results have chaned over the last few weeks. Great catch, Sherlock. In fact, wait an hour and they'll change again.
Google has "Image Result" , "Video Result", "News Result", "Blog Search", "Sports Scores" and "Google Maps".. What are you asking for other than that? Well.. Bing doesn't have something more powerful than those combined..
Google still the king, depend on bing, how they maintain their search. I use bing also, just to make sure all website is indexed by bing..
Seriously they are using a whole new Algorithm, from a search engine technology the bought http://powerset.com/ Thanks for Calling me Sherlock
