hi everyone... My name is George and i want to learn css & html... From the beginning, what i need for learn first? Thanks for help
I cannot agree more with dynashox. I clearly remember i started learning HTML and CSS from W3Schools.com in the day while i was working in a SEO firm the night 2 years ago. Great place to learn like a school. Don't try to grab more than what u can chew, read 1/2 pages daily, understand, practice with the examples and you will do great.
Ideally you want to learn both combined, probably best to read and learn HTML, read the differences between HTML and XHTML and begin reading and learning CSS.
Yes, this would be a good place to start. Learn HTML/XHTML then learn CSS. After that use some tutorials which combines them together and puts your knowledge to the test. After that you can start designing simple websites and sooner or later you'll be a pro
Try to Google! with CSS Learning Tutorials or something like that you can have so many good articles & informative tutorials that can really help you to seek information of CSS
I would recommend learning html before css. Once you learn html, css will in part follow. Any major search engine will return thousands of quality results for "html tutorials", just use one that you feel comfortable with.
Whatever you want to learn google is there for you......you must learn html than css this will be a better optio according to me because I have also done in the same manner.
I guess you are looking for website suggestions.... I'd actually steer you away from the recommended W3Schools. It's a bit outdated and hasn't been updated in donkeys years (at least the last time I looked it hadn't). I would say, a good resource would be, www.htmldog.com Sitepoint is also a good resource, http://reference.sitepoint.com/css www.tizag.com can also be pretty nice. I may get flammed for this but, I would actually recommend that you purchase a book. I seem to find that it always helps when learning something. Just my $0.02
I learned everything I know about HTML/CSS from this wonderful, free site. The interface is a bit dull but the lessons are excellent, written & synchronised for the absolute beginner in clear, simple terms with losts of examples. http://www.tizag.com/
