how do you use twitter?

    i have a twitter account but i do NOT know how to use it or what it is even for.

    can anybody help me set up and knowing the basics for twitter?

    i see its real popular but what the heck is it for?

    its basically a mini blog - you keep your followers updated via very short posts

    i dont use it yet but may consider it for a new upcoming project

    You can use twitter to drive traffic to your sites or blogs.
    But for that you need followers. :)
    Its good site if you know how to use it.

    it's some king of a miniblog to keep you in touch with your friends.
    but i have a concern : why the heck would you make an account on twitter if you don't even know what it's for ?

    i am trying to try it out.. but i have NO clue what to do.. my profile there seems sooooo plain.. and it looks pointless.

    but i just figured out how to follow peoples things.. i clicked follow when i see a profile.
