    Posting Links in Yahoo answers is great free traffic driven Idea. But you will get more benefits only if your answers selected as best answers.
    And also it based on your niche also. Some niches get more traffic.

    I used YA once to promote a movie website. Sometimes i really got a lot of traffic over 100 for a good answer.
    but i think it's because the niche...

    yahoo answer has good index in google, google send visitor to yahoo answer and YA send visitor to your website, the key is google :)

    i bought couple of Y! answer services to save time and have seen some traffic at the beginning. my observation is that you need to keep posting if you want steady traffic. once you stop posting, few days later the traffic dies off. from 50 answers posting with my URL at the bottom, i was getting 30-50 visits per day but didn't last long. week or 2 later, traffic is zero.

    also, Y! answer is low converting as it is being so much used by webmasters and online marketers but i guess that depends on niche. its good to know that you are seeing backlink in webmaster tool even tho Y! answer is nofollow

    Yahoo answers is really worth your time if you want to build a long-term HIGHLY targeted traffic to your sites. The more targeted traffic, the more sales! I know people who are earning solid income per month just answering to the questions related to their niches, in other words, they are getting so much targeted traffic that visitors are eagerly buy from them. Because many people are looking for solution for their problems on yahoo answers. So if you give them what they need, they will surely buy what you are offering.

    I myself also use yahoo answers on a regular basis.

    I got my targeted Visitors in
    yahoo Answers but i post only few
    answers and sources to avoid spamming.
    It's hard to accept being suspended after a couple of contribution.
    What do you think?

    I'll agree with GameFriends...Yahoo answers visitors are random and not targeted visitors unless you are answering only your niche-specific questions. Its' a big turn off because of nofollow.

    In the past I've got good traffic from them and became level 4 answerer. However I've got banned and it's impossible to answer anymore. You answer on topic but as soon as you place a link you got banned. Is it the same for you ?
