SEO isn't a one -off event, it's a conitnual process, especially when you're promoting something as competitive as free flash games. What anchor texts have you been targeting? To break into a tough market you need to think about what your 'Unique Selling Point' is - what marks you out from other flash game sites, do some keyword research on how people search for that, find some keywords/phrases that reflect that - ones that get healthy monthly volume, but not too competitive - now go back and do all that you've done before and do it again with your keywords/phrases(except the search engine submission)

my blog's traffic became 750 from 400 in 1 week. you cannot know when your traffic booms. but if you are doing the right things for seo just keep at it.

Yeah. have you properly implemented off-the-site strategies in optimization? Also, flashes are hard to optimize.

Arcade sites are so abundant on the web and the niche has become highly saturated. You should consider 200 daily UVs a rather successful mark for a few months.

What keywords have you targetted? If you have already reached the top spot for the keyword than target another set of keywords.

Well.. Here are some few tips i could give you based on 10 months experience..

    1. Know your competitors ( Exhaust a list of all your competitors.. If its more than 20, try other less competitive niches )

    2. Know your future plans ( What do you want to be in the future? )

    3. Who are you? ( Well, Who am i from visitors point of view? Am i just a garbage? )

    4. Well, as an owner of the website.. What do i know about marketing and SEO?

    5. Know your limits ( of billions of users from all over the globe what percentage of that population am i going to target? Where are they located? Will my maximum earnings compensate my maximum expenses? )

    6. Am i in this generation? ( Well.. Internet World is rapidly updating daily.. new viruses.. new anti-viruses.. new ideas.. new software.. new SEO concepts.. Can my website keep up with the rapid changes? )

    = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
These are just some of the questions you need to answer.
    = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

After answering these questions, create and develop your own idea.

To be honest the site isn't that appealing, you're trying to go for the Newgrounds.com look but it's not that refined. I would redesign the site, because in all honesty I wouldn't come back to it the second time. Do you use Google Analytics or any other software? What is your new vs. returning visitor ratio?

You cannot get traffic overnight.. Just continue with what you are doing and make sure that the sites you are visiting have high PR..

I agree with the crowd here, this isn't neccessarily an SEO problem as much as a marketing problem. Focus on keeping the people that are showing up, and my advice would be to put more time and effort into the marketing aspects before worrying about SEO. Your site has a lot of potential, but you'll have to break out of the mold that the other 1000 flash sites that opened this week are in.

Check out "Purple Cow" by Seth Godin. Great book that helps a lot for this kind of thing.

Think about where your target audience hangs out and try to get link from those sites.

Once you have visitors coming to your site find ways to get them coming back, such as prizes for members who play lots of games.

    @mircea007

i just ran a key word density test on yoursite

    http://www.webuildpages.com/seo-tools/keyword-density/

    your content is low

I understand your site is game site
but look at top sites like Ign.com ,

and borrow some of their tactics

    for example

Like writeup game review of each game on your site

i assume your top key words are flash games, games, online games

tried to include these words on your content

    A few Suggestion
you might already have these tools

[1] Open a google webmaster tool account
[2] Open a google Analytics account
[3] open a google Website Optimizer account
    [4] open a statccounter account

Make Sure You keep an eye on your statcounter.com & Google Analytics
to see your top referral source

and take advantage of what works best for your site

You mentioned early about social bookmarking
add a www.addthis.com button to your site

so your viewers and U can takeful advantage of bookmarking

    Open a twitter account

    Video Marketing

Open up a youtube & other video sharing accounts

*The key is make good helpful or tips video related to your websites content**

The more videos you have the better

** plus tap into your subscriber list -Gold Mine **** with out spamming them
don't want to lose your viewers

** make sure to include your url
In the intro and the End
    and thru out the video

plus youtube allows users to enter their url on the description -many other video sharing don't allow that

Descriptions can contain a link to your website and can be “keyword rich,” but it must read cleanly, and provide an accurate description of the video.

Good luck I hope this can help

You could always throw up a survey and ask for feedback from your visitors.

Have to admit that I would look at the registration requirement. I've seen sites that don't have this restriction. If I had a choice between two sites, one with and one without, sorry but I'm going to the one without.

Thanks for the info on statcounter.com. I wasn't aware of this so have now set up an account and installed the counter on my site. So hopefully have some more info to use alongside google analytics.

Content is king in SEO. Besides building links, you need to put unique contents to your site. If people find your site interesting, they will link you naturally and visit your site regularly.

content is king so just increase more content in your sites with consideration of keywords density. Do all onpage and off page work.
