S2 i take it thats the s version of the A2? aint seen one of them here in the UK, got any pics? Good speed though, looking at it wouldn't think it would do that, rather topple over at 100mph, lol
Well I set my cruise control on my 01 malibu at 114 for about 3 hours in arizona once (that was FUN!) lol but the fastest I can remember is about 130 in a 01 ford explorer rental car on the big island of hawaii lol
I've gone approximately 125 mph in a Chevy Corvette (driving) - about 100 to 110 in my VW GTI 1.8T, and about 100 in my Honda S2000. I'm a girl though, so I may not be as adventurous as some of you guys. I get scared around 100 mph when I am driving. I had to make myself go 125 in the Corvette; I wanted to decelerate, but my curiosity got the best of me. I was a passenger on a Kawasaki Ninja, and reached 140 mph - thought I was going to get blown off the back. I was also a passenger in a Porsche 911 at about 130 - 140 mph.
I will see what I can find in the morning. It reminded me of a wolf in sheeps clothing... it was mental. The 155Mph was resticted speed. I will look up the details and get a pic. It was an M reg estate car and if I remember correctly it was a 2.2 or 2.3 litre bi-turbo.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_S2#The_S2_and_RS2 The one I went in was chipped I believe and the dial showed around 160 ish although they can be about 10% out. Apparantly it was chipped but was still restricted to 155. I remember the car accellerating all the way up to there and then just stuck at 155 as though it hit a barrier. The chip gave more power on the bottom end. The acceleration on all gears is quite amazing. S2's are around the UK but I rarely see them. I think the one I went in is now in France. It is just weird sitting in an estate car and then putting your foot down and thinking what the heck... an estate car doesnt do this normally. LOL.
250 kb/s!!! That fact that I find that hillarious makes me incredibly sad. xP Maybe 70 mph? I'm only 16 and the only time I've been in a car with someone they're like "well I can't drive too fast with kids in the car!" ¬¬
shamess, that was funny, lol well u've only got another year till u hit 17 so u can drive for ur self and i'm thinking of becoming a part time driving instructor so i can teach u the good shit and the bad shit, lol
This may be of interest: Rendezvous "On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur. No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit. The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets." Stay with it to the end.... - Michael
