17$ header/logo contest

@MH Giant, thank you for the entry.This looks more like a toy store logo so I am not looking for something like that.

@moneylizardm, feedback is not harsh, I am telling the truth and that's all.What do you expect from me to say, do you see what designs are under your post? People are not design what I am even tell them to do (dimensions, color..)..

I see now you are only 15 years old, so you have more to learn.Good luck in your work.

I think the main problem is you haven't given any examples of what you do like or given us information on what type of look you're going for.

We all know that the headers we've posted aren't what you're looking for, but without telling us what you're looking for it's hard to create something that we think you'll like.

 

what do you expect for $17?! You think a good designer wants to waste 1-2 hours on a project that MIGHT pay $17? Wow... $8.50 an hour, that's McDonald's pay dude. I make $30/hour at my day job... and im sure the good designers out there do too, why would they enter then?

First of all I was clear when I said I want same dimensions and up to 20px with.Most of entries did not follow that.And then I am harsh and wrong?
I was looking for similar colors.Most of them fail on that.
There is maybe 3 entries that are similar what I am looking for, and I will not pick any of that 3.And that's my fault?Take a good look at all entries before telling me I am the problem in this contest.

apparently i wasnt joking if i posted. you didn't give a lot of information all you gave was the basics. And since everyone has met the basic requirements you still don't like one.So therefore how about you throw in some pictures or detailed color schemes about what you would like. You need to learn...to be more specific because after all we can't read minds.

 

I vote for this one.

The use of colors is excellent. The picture of the "blogger" at his desk is on top and blends in nicely with the letters. The thumbs up is key and works great stuck on the front of the first letter. And a fence behind the T, nice touch. Oh ya, and the candle on top of the L... brilliant.

Add the texturizer to give it the grainy sandpaper look, NICE.

 

Now when we all had fun, I hope someone will design some nice header for $25 now.

@icey011, no examples or comments will improve your work.Your designs are awful and sorry if I hurt your feelings, but that is just the way it is, and everyone with eyes can see that.
