    Is paying an internet Cafe` to set your website as the main website (Default stie in browser when u load it) for a month against google's TOS?

    Same IP address on all computers... multiple hits from the same IP - don't you think it's a little suspicious from Google's point of view?

    My only suggestion is you write an email to Google begging their forgiveness and that you'll never do something like this again.

    Now I wonder about the policy of setting your competitor's site as homepage...

    Its probably not against the TOS but if all the clicks come from one IP how do they know that it wasn't Mike sat on a mates PC clicking on his ad's everyday?

    I am with Google on this one. A ban is the only option.

    why instead of banning don't they just make it not count if more than x amount of clicks from the same ip come in? How stupid

    They do disregard a certain level of multiple clicks from one IP but if it looks like you are cheating the system its far easier for them to ban you than to keep checking up on you.

    this sucks man, i paid 75$ for that advertising and it was great... i got about 10k hits a day from it from the local cafe and the thing is it would help generate repeat visitors more about getting my site out there yah know.. shame man blah

    it like a gaming cafe mate they have about 200 comps and it packed all day and the constant open closing of firefox... i never even thought about the same ip i didnt even mention this when i emailed google... it never crossed my mind
