I want to buy a 900$ domain name, I've come up with a logo, a whole theme and idea for it, even the slogan, the only problem is I don't have 900$ Does anyone have any advice on how to make money online through paypal or if I could possibly get an online domain loan or something of that nature? I know I should have checked the price before I did all the site theme stuff, but I got carried away. Thanks for any advice. And I know I should have earned the money beforehand.
If you have any skills, offer your services to earn the money, or borrow it from friends or family. That's a big price tag for someone with no money, maybe you should consider shopping for domains when you actually have a way to pay for them, or register a new one for $10. Do you have anything to sell ? Electronics, Games, ? How bad do you want it ? Do you have a job ?
I put up an ipod touch 32 gb 2g and a psp on classifieds but haven't recieved any offers, I've tried doing graphic work for people on here but got scammed. I want this domain very badly, I've come up with a great site concept, I'm just paying for other things in life at the moment and can't afford the domain. Also I recently got laid off of my job.
If it was easy to come up with $900 fast, then anyone would repeat t again and again, faster everytime and he will be very rich.. The best thing/only thing is to borrow.. Only thing that seem to sell easily today are 1) Scam ebooks -Don't try it 2) PR backlinks from established original sites - Not sure if you have any 3) Sell a revenue generating site - Not sure if you have any Services that can be sold 1) $5 /500 word articles if you are good at writing, anything more expensive, clients are hard to come by.. or you need to be very good and established. 2) DIrectory submission- Pretty easy menial job but at $15 for 1000 submissions it will take lots of orders and you need to beat the current DP price 3) Blog commenting is the hottest thing now. Finding dofollow blogs are easy.. commenting is also easy but time consuming if you want the comments to be approved. 4) Social bookmarking but that is not allowed here at DP.. $10 for 100 social bookmarks etc 5) Forum posting crappy.. 6) Logo and banner designs if you are good... at graphics ie.. But then it will take sometime to start earning.. What is your plan of on the domain? Theme and banner are the least I worry about.. Unless I want my site accepted at yahoo directory, botw etc, I never bother about the looks of my sites So do yu have unique content Ideas, viral nature to your site, does it have any sticky attribute? How are you going to get traffic.. Will people link to it happily just to recommend you for free.. etc etc It is a great Idea and you think it is going to generate thousands of dollars in profit and if you can convince people, then there are lots of people who might want to invest... And for a seemingly startup site, which looks like one of your first few sites, why bother so much about the domain name... Because if it has all the attributes that I just commented above, then you don't need a fancy name or keyword trust me...
What you are describing sounds like life. Welcome to it. We all have moments in life where we want or need something that we can't afford. Nothing special about that. Sacrifice and work hard to get what you want...I mean there is not really anything that is going to miraculously help you get $900 out of the blue.
