After few work I ranked first for the keyword "Code input", but i'm not receiving any traffic, although this keyword had trends. Can someone explain to me why??
12,000 in one month? -> 350+ a day However I'm not receiving even 1 visitor from it I have one MONTH!
I don't know the people here told me, but what i'm sure is that the keyword has good volume, you can check Google Trends for that
with google keyword tool https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal its say 12,100 searches. i never just use google keyword. i also use word tracker. there i don't have any search for this keyword.
I think the keyword is not at all competitive and you would do well to concentrate on a lot more searched keyword. I see the website with domain name codeinput at the first place in serps though.... Is that your site? If it is, I wonder where you put in all your hard work as ranking first for your domain name for insignificant keyword is fairly automatic! Regards, RightMan
This is where you have been mistaken Keyword - Local Search Volume: May - Global Monthly Search Volume code input 3,600 12,100 (Broad) [code input] Not enough data 73 (Exact) Broad match:Searches on similar phrases and relevant variations Exact match:Searches that match the exact phrase exclusively Your research showed you 12,100 search volume based on a Broad match for an average month. If you now select Exact then you will see there was not even enough data to give a stat for May and on an average month you may be lucky to see 2 searches a day for that exact keyphrase. Now lets imagine that these users type this in then realise they have been to generic with their search and add a few more words which is what apprears to be the case by the Broad results being so much higher. Well if your website does not lure these visitors in with the Meta title and description they are looking for then you can expect not to receive any traffic for this keyword. Always Use Exact to get a real indication of traffic for a specific keyphrase. Hope that helps
Gazzerman beat me to it: if you choose [exact] (which is a bit like searching for something "in quotes" on Google) on the Google Keyword Tool, then "code input" only shows 73 searches a month, which is pathetic. But it makes sense; I mean, who searches Google for "code input"? People know how to input code. You use a keyboard.
Try focusing over the terms that are searched for a lot on a daily and monthly basis. Take a look at the top mranking sites in your niche to find out which terms to target and choose.
adwords keyword tool is not good.It shows wrong traffic.iam not sure why they do it.Use wordtracker tool. Its much better and more accurate.Adwords tool always shows traffic in thousands - after we build links and get to the op -we see not even one visitor in a day !!!This is the real truth .
