I began to grow wisdom teeth when I was 16. I had a tough time, the tooth grew at an angle slighlty displaced from the row of molars. I could eat for 6 months, not that I starved. Later the teeth pain subsided on its own. I wanted to see the dentist, but my superstitious folks would not let me do that. They still believe that if you have your wisdom teeth extracted, you lose your wisdom!!! Superstition knows little bounds! Don't you agree?
@ ncaditya the reason they are called wisdom teeth is because (I read this) you get them when your older or when you have more "wisdom". Well, today I had it taken out. I was really freaking out this morning. The nurse wasn't hot or anything (damn), but she was a pretty humorous nurse so I was a little more relaxed. The surgeon came in and turned up the gas, wow that felt good, then I woke up in the recovery room and don't even remember how i got there. The dizziness and happiness was awesome! Anyhow, right now the bleeding is slowly stopping. Pain is minimal and I'm taking pills to stop any infection and for pain. Over all pretty good. I would totally do it again. Skinny1
I have taken out 2 of them, and it was not really anything to talk about. Well it did hurt but not afterwards like everybody told me. //Andreas
1, 2, try 4 at once. And 2 of them were impacted, so they had to shatter them in my mouth before pulling them out. Sounds like fun, right? Good meds though! I'd do it again!
Are you for real I wouldn't think anyone could be that ill informed trust me bud get them pulled the issues then can cause in this situation aren’t pretty. I had all 4 out they were impacted all went well, Didn’t swell to bad etc. lol the only part that annoy me was the slow part of waking back up blood pressure went low and had to be jacked up and down in the bed to help control it wasn’t bad had 5 nurses around me at one stage so I would wake up with a good looking nurse saying my name then drift back to unconscious damm it was painfully slow to get back to full consciousness after that no issues all went well no real pain to speak of.
Hehe yes. Day 2 and still no swelling or bruising. It still hurts a bit, but totally bearable. Yea they had to shatter my tooth too, but I didn't feel anything. Skinny
If you got no swelling until now, you're not going to have it at all... Remember to keep a good oral hygiene in order to heal that gum well
I really hope so. Apperantly the wisdom tooth didn't have much roots so they didn't have to dig down much. I've got an ice pack on my cheeck just in case and am brushing after eating (w/ water) and rinsing my mouth with salt and water solutions. Should be okay by tomorrow. Pain is really really minimal. Skinny
When I had my wisdom teeth taken out it wasn't so bad. My dad recommened to use clove oil to help with the pain afterwards and that really did help quite a bit.
