I was doing what I do in my spare time just browsing the internet looking for something interesting to read. I found my self researching peta this time, I'm not 100% if this source is credible, Hopefully it is a hoax website, anyone can confirm this with any other sources?

I took this off the website:

2008 95% of the animals killed? Im sure local animals shelters could do ALOT better then this. I don't know, but for all the funding and support they get. I would think that can find more then 7 homes in a year for animals.

If anyone could find a better source on this it would be great if you can post it.

Yes, unfortunately it's true. PETA kills the vast majority of animals they "rescue", they run a slaughterhouse not a shelter. If you ask PETA about that website, they will dismiss it by saying it's produced by the meat industry as a smear campaign. However, if you look to verify all the facts on PETAKillsAnimal.com, you will find that they are telling the truth. I used to be a member of PETA until I began to look closer and understand what they really stand for.

PETA opposes and campaigns AGAINST the no kill movement. The no kill movement strives to support no kill shelters and work towards eliminating the euthanasia of healthy animals. If you would like to read more about the no kill movement, here is the no kill declaration.

PETA wants to make it mandatory that ALL pit bulls that find there way into a shelter are KILLED, no matter how gentle and sweet they are, no matter if someone wants to adopt them. PETA supports bans on Pit Bulls and breed discrimination laws. PETA tried to pressure authorities to kill Mike Vicks Pit Bulls, but Best Friends Animal Society stepped in and saved them.

Unfortunately most people aren't smart enough to see that a dogs behaviour is dictated by the owner(s) and not the breed. This even more so than that "charity" run by a self confessed media whore. It saddens me that so many people follow them. :(
