Fair Analysis of AdBrite

Disregarding a common misconception: AdBrite doesn't pay low. Their CPM just varies depending on the site performance. AdBrite is a system targeted towards bigger sites and more stable publishers. I used to get around $0.03 CPM, and thought of switching but couldn't find the right company. So I was stuck with AdBrite at least until my site reached 6 months old and qualified for Adsense. My site grew in exponential rates in the past month and my CPM rised to over a dollar. Of course I did optimize the ads and kept my CTR to around 1-2%.

I am making over 200 / day now and I don't know if I am going to switch over to Adsense even if I qualified. I believe Adsense will pay me a lot higher since I receive about 2000 clicks / day. However the word out there has me thinking that Google has an ill reputation of randomly banning people.

I haven't received my first check from AdBrite yet though, I set a 3000 base-payment setting and just found out they pay net-60. That is a loong time without my cash.

Anyone else have this experience with them?

A lot of people say Adbrite is a rip off but it seems to be pretty good for you.
I think you should use Adsense though. About the people getting banned though, they get banned because of reasons like copyright and stuff.

I've seen the amount per click fall in the past three or four months. I thought it might be due to the current financial climate the Western World is involved in.

I've noticed that most of the ads Adbrite are serving are from something called Spark (or something similar) and the payments are $0.01 per click.

I have recently removed them all from my blogs and have replaced them for a couple of months with Bidvertiser to see if I get more money for the clicks.

The only good keywod I had with them was when I ran my football (soccer) message board. Earned about $20.00 a month.

I guess I'll try putting Adsense on several pages and AdBrite on others. With my previous experience with Adsense in the past I believe it will earn more.

I am willing to stick with AdBrite if my income is increasing the way it is now. I find that the CPM has to do with the average impressions served in a month, so if my site is growing I figure so would my CPM.

The only reason that is keeping me from being 100% loyal with them is the net-60 payout. I just don't feel secure with that. Do they offer a receipt or check history or something? I feel like they're going to sneak some dollars away.

Overall AdBrite has been one of the oldest of its kind though, I'll update when I do receive my first check, which I suppose should be over 3k.

If you are looking for a cpm ad network, I highly do not recommend using AdBrite. AdBrite only works for cpm with graphic ads, and they server graohic ads and text ads at the same time. Also rates with AdBrite are extremely low, you will be getting like 3 cents and lower per cpm.

If you have other choices to pick from cpm ad networks, I would recommend doing that, because there is many good cpm ad network that will pay you around 10 cents and higher per cpm.

Also AdBrite will not scam you or take you money away, they will see you the check on the amount you earned.

I guess so. I noticed that Adbrite's CPM is actually eCPM. I had about 2000 clicks yesterday and my revenue was 390. I multiplied my impressions number (in thousands) by the CPM and it was my actual revenue. That means the clicks did nothing. =\

They don't count CPM and CPC alone. That's really disappointing.

Adbrite Sucks. Be Very Weary Of Them. They stole 4000$ from me. every time i contact their costumer service i get the same automated email. Be very careful running their ads. They will ban your account and seize your hard earned money with out any reason .

    Here you go.

That is untrue. Even though their rates are low, they are still an old and stable company. Remember that they share 70% profit and their revenue is linked with the publishers'. There must be a reason why they are still here. I believe it's because they keep the profits to the bigger publishers. I have experienced this effect.

Of course i am mad. At the time that they ban my account i was earning 80$ a day. 80% of the daily earnings were coming from their full page ad which completely ruined my website and pissed of a lot of visitors. I purchased 1000$ dollars worth of traffic and got nothing back.

Maybe they banned you because your traffic was "purchased".
