I just wrote 2 ebooks, with pictures and all. -"Lifting without hurting" (15 pages) and -"Lose weight the natural way" (20 pages) I made them while I was recovering from shoulder surgery. Very nice ebooks that actually do work, not just some made up stuff. I originally wanted to sell them for $29.99 each or $49.99 as a couple. But for now a introductory price of $19.99 each will be good. Do you think if I added them to clickbank with lets say 50% revshare or 70% introductory revshare on them that they would sell?
you need to offer at least 75% to attract affiliates. you might be able to sell some copies but know that the weight loss niche is very competitive and even the most experienced publishers find it difficult to break into. you need to invest in a good/great copywriter and decent design good luck!
Weight loss is probably a HARD thing to get into as many publishers there are out there. I know when I tried to sell a weight loss product I found it hard and never did make a sale. I think you are selling them too cheap, a lot of people want at least 30 bucks commission.
you mean selling each product as a different cb product, as you wrote: "introductory price of $19.99 each" I think $19.99 for a product would be too low. the price should be at least $25 and commission 75% so that affiliates can get good commission. You need to have a solid landing page and good affiliate material as the competition for weight loss niche is too high, so you need to have some great resources in order to attract the affiliates.
See the reason why I am selling so cheap is because there is so much more commission... so the person buying will choose mine.
Sorry mate, but not really! That's not a rule, not because you're selling it cheap people will buy yours, you have to offer more value.
You are thinking correctly from a point of view. However, the problem is that 99.9% of affiliates wownt promote a product that does not yield at least a $30 per sale. From the customer side, yes they would probably buy yours if its a high quality product but yet cheaper than others. but without affiliates, there will be no sales Affiliates are your best friends, and spend time and money to promote a product, thats why we need a 75% commission and good amount per sale. good Luck!
Affiliate won't promote your product because of the commission factor. You see.. the competition for adwords in weight loss niche is high and people are paying top dollars for top space. Your commissions are not enough for them to break even let alone make profit.
