Do not try and trick PP, if you do you can end up losing money ...just pay the fee they have bills to pay!
As far as I can tell, there is no difference. Personal transactions from another PayPal account in the same country are free, everything else has a fee, no matter what kind of account you have. Personal PayPal accounts are only meant for "individuals who shop online" (their own words). If you are selling goods or services you should have a premier or business account. See the fees: https://www.paypal.com/ph/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/ua/policy_fees-outside
I think that PayPal will eventually force you to upgrade to Premier if you are using your Personal account for business. As far as I can tell, there is no disadvantage to doing that, but maybe others can comment on that.
hate those greedy bastards, damn paypal! And fees are confusing, for example I received 10$, the fee should be 0.30$ + 3.4% = 0.64$, but the fee taken was 0.69$ How come?
No who said this blunder ? paypal now charges for even paypal funds. In personal account. Damn.............!
yeah yeah you are right, but I saw another thing, When I tried to withdraw my money from odesk (freelace site) to paypal its didt take any transaction charge.
Is there any fee for bulk orders ? yest I sent usd 247 through purchase tab in personal account and the receiver was not charged any fees - strange ?
did he open details of that transaction? Coz you don't see fees deducted neither in your payment received email nor in your paypal interface. People get fooled, because they see for instance 100$ and they don't see that its actually 95$ or so untill they click DETAILS. Its tricky
Exactly.. the recent activity screen shows the transaction without the fees. And the moment you click on the details of the transactions, it displays the fees and amount received. I think its time to switch to premier account and let the buyers and sellers mutually decide who pays the transaction fees.
See What happens now .. My friend received 3 Gifts Payment in Half Hour time Paypal Limited His Account and asked for "Proper Info" about the Last Three Transaction! So I scanned a Copy of his license and uploaded it .. Than I called paypal I had to clarify them that payment was received as a Gift because its my Fathers Birthday today And .. da da .. The Guy lifted Limitation instantly
I dont ask my clients to send payments as gifts.I am used to a premier account since 2-3 years and i think will continue that way.No use trying to fool paypal.
