Though I think your idea is a sound one, you ruined it with your obviously misguided but strong "fucking" idea that President Obama is an idiot. I mean your belief that Obama is a blithering idiot has pushed you to the point of profanity it makes you so angry because it's so obvious!!! But then... why didn't this happen the past 8 years when we had a genius in there that you voted for twice? Whoops.. there goes your credibility
Sure, but in the same breath the White House fires the inspector general for doing his job... But wait, Obama is buds with former basketball player and dumb ass, now mayor Kevin Johnson. Hmm... lets see... If Obama lets inspector general keep his job, Kevin Johnson loses his and Sacramento looses stimulus aid... Ah, its all getting much clearer. Ironic given this breaks a law that "Obama" of all people introduced? At times its hard to believe this guy specialized in Constitutional Law when he knows nothing about it. Its even harder to believe he's president.
Gerald Walpin, inspector general of the Corporation for National and Community Service was just fired by Barry Obama. The firing focused on Walpin's work exposing serious irregularities in the use of AmeriCorps funds by Kevin Johnson, the Sacramento mayor who is a political supporter of Mr. Obama's. The irregularities occurred while Mr. Johnson headed a Sacramento educational enterprise. Another, bigger controversy, this one involving a program at the City University of New York (CUNY). AmeriCorps has granted each fellow up to $9,450 on top of their scholarships. As Mr. Walpin describes it, the AmeriCorps cash has the appearance of a gratuity - "because it adds no service to the community which is not already provided by the Fellows Program." "The [Fellows Program at] City University of New York is the largest AmeriCorps program," Mr. Walpin told us. "The corporation board clearly did not like the idea that we were holding that their largest program was invalid." The board chairman is Alan Solomont, a longtime top Democratic donor who bundled more than $800,000 combined for the Obama presidential campaign and Inauguration. He had been a Democratic appointee on the AmeriCorps board since 2000 before Mr. Obama elevated him to chairman. "Solomont has been very, very hostile to the IG's office," Mr. Walpin said. "It hadn't been like that [before the new administration]." http://washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jun/16/obamas-walpin-gate-problem/ Obama Official Resume http://www.whitehouse.gov/administration/President_Obama/ 1) Community Organizer - After working his way through college with the help of scholarships and student loans, President Obama moved to Chicago, where he worked with a group of churches to help rebuild communities devastated by the closure of local steel plants. 2) He went on to attend law school, where he became the first African—American president of the Harvard Law Review. 3) Community Organizer - Upon graduation, he returned to Chicago to help lead a voter registration drive, teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago, and remain active in his community.
Thanks for expanding on it, though I doubt the reason its significant will mean anything to the vast majority of clones and drones here. 4) Life long welfare recipient
The other poll services show a drop of about 10% as well. Gallup also shows almost a 10% drop since Feb, which is probably normal, and a rise in disapproval of 15%-20% on either. It's well known that President's have a honeymoon period coming into office. The difference is Rasmussen only polls likely voters, which is probably more useful for gauging upcoming election results rather than gauging actual job approval rating of the population at large. http://www.gallup.com/poll/113980/Gallup-Daily-Obama-Job-Approval.aspx Obama has a +4 approval on the Rasmussen index. As a comparison, Bush had a -30 when he left office. So Obama's approval rating is still pretty good considering how it's calculated( (strongly approve - strongly disapprove) among likely voters).
Bush’s overall approval rating had never fallen below 35% before April 2009. That's about the time the bailouts of Bear Stearns and Freddie/Fannie started.
He did according to gallup. http://www.gallup.com/poll/113770/B...-Drunk Newsproval-61-DisDrunk Newsproval.aspx I'd like to know what the rasmussen index number for bush was prior to april 08, since the disapproval rating plays an equal part. But I don't know if rasmussen is still serving them.
Source: http://themoderatevoice.com/19545/poll-new-bush-low-job-approval-rating-falls-to-all-time-low/ Obama's numbers are considerably better than Bush's was at the beginning of his second term. Bush's numbers were probably as good or better right after 9/11, though. The point is, Obama's numbers really aren't bad, especially considering all the bad news with the economy.
Obama has done a good job blaming Bush the last 6 months. Obama has a couple of issues that really haven't been covered by main stream media (1) his own connection to the mortgage mess as a lawyer and activist for Acorn. His involvement continued as a US Senator where he led the effort in 2005 to block the McCain reform of Freddie/Fannie. Also what is overlooked is that Obama is #2 on the list for recipients of campaign contributions from Freddie/Fannie. In addition Rahm Emmanuel worked for one I believe it was Fannie as a board member and also was a leading receipient of Freddie/Fannie campaign contributions. (2) The stimulus isn't working. There really isn't much stimulus in the stimulus bill. We have spent $1 trillion on a plan that is doing little to create new jobs. The only thing the stimilus spending has done is to drive mortgage rates up. Unemployment is going up and early next year it will touch 11%. Obama is also spending a lot of time travelling everywhere and making TV appearances. He really is spending a lot of time maintaining his popularity.
Are you saying he's popular? Anyway, it's good to see you're just fighting the fight for objectivity and truth, Bogart. You should call the president of the mainstream media and tell him to start running those stories about how Obama single handedly caused the recession.
George, I'm giving you the win today. I shouldn't have started something I didn't intend to finish, but life has me a bit in the dumps lately and I'm thoroughly exhausted. Politics is the last thing I need, it's as addicting as cigarettes and twice as harmful. Maybe I'll be a fool and come back, if so I'll try to get back to your post.
Obama is historic Jimmy Carter II -the hope President of the 70's- that came back big and bad. The US just spent a trillion stimulus and now Obama wants to spend a trillion more on Hillary care. How do we pay for that? Let's see if Obama can keep his promise and stay out of the California Budget Crisis White House says no to California budget help http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUSTRE55F5VK20090616 Glen Beck and Sean Hannity have beat me to it
I was going to say that I'm be really surprised if they hadn't mentioned those things on fox news, and they're MSM. You didn't mention birth-gate, though. Has that gotten old? Kenya give a brutha a break?
There's still lawsuits going on but they aren't going anywhere. http://www.obamacrimes.info/ We need Michael Moore to make a documentary and 60 minutes to get some evidence. I'm not saying that Obama was born in Kenya. But it's suspicous that he is not releasing the vault copy of his birth certificate. It's also suspicious that Obama has never stated the hospital where he was born and the attending doctor. How do you prove or disprove where Obama was born when you don't know the doctor or hospital? Glen Beck is formerly of CNN... MSN and others are saying the same thing... Even Bill Maher now. Must be a reason Fox is number one. Seems even the people that hate it tend to watch it to get a dose of reality.
Obama did not cause this recession - the Democrats in congress did. Read Your Constitution - the Executive Branch has almost no power when it comes to the economy - all responsibility for the US economy rests in the House of Representatives and since 2006 it's been the responsibility of the Speaker of the House, Nancy "I wouldn't lie to you ten times in a row" Pelosi. Blame Pelosi. She's such an embarrassment, she had to flee to China for asylum! I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Obama WANTS to do the right thing - but Pelosi won't give him permission.
50% of the Obama adminstration including Obama were Democrats in Congress that caused the problem. Now they are supposed to fix the same problem that they caused.
