My First Clickbank Journal, Goal: $30,000 By December 2009

Hey there, I have started affiliate marketing since March. I have been messing with Clickbank on and off for about 4 months and have managed to make about $1,200 from it. However I have been a massive drought lately due to lack of dedication so I have decided to start all over from the basics and with new niches. I will dive into 3 different niches, pick out the best products from these niches and write about 30 articles per niche to test if the product works or not. From there, I will either use a pre-sell landing page if the products convert or move on if they don't. I also have another method using CPAlead that should net me another $1,000-$2,000 per month. I will share my daily success with you guys on this method and even give it out for a free if it continues to work well!

My promotional methods will mostly be article marketing and video marketing with a little yahoo answers, then after a steady income I will dive into PPC(paid traffic).

Tomorrow, I will start the clickbank journey and pick out the products and start writing articles, be sure to stay tuned.

Good luck with it and try to stick with it. We tend to see quite a few of these journals but the people drop off after a while never to be seen again.

Petehols has a good journal running here at the moment

hmmm I get abit worried with people quantifying how much they want to earn this year. Like TerryD said I see these journals (mostly from noobs) popping up every week all for it to go dead when the money doesnt start rolling in immediately!! I think the best way is just the develop a strategy to make a sale then slowly build from there, making a goal of 30k by xmas might be unreleastic, I would hate for you to be disappointed!!

    But good luck anyways!!

    Hi Mik is Here

Good luck with this it can be very inspiring and motivational to put all your thoughts and progress into a thread like this. I have been doing the same thing as you now for about 4 months. The sales are starting to come in now. If you don't get many sales to start with don't get disheartened. Make sure you have a plan on how you are going to achieve this target and stick to it. During the course of your journey things will likely change and you are going to have to learn to adapt with them. Stick with it and if you are focussed I know that you can achieve your goal.

If I can help in any way please let me know.

    Thanks

    Pete

To TerryD: yeah I know there have been alot of unfinished journals on here, which helps to motivate me to switch through it to show myself and everyone that you can succeed online with hardwork.

To petehols: Thanks for the advice man, your journal has been alot of inspiration for me and I have been following through with it since you made it. I hope to find the same success in the next few months that you are starting to have now.

Ok everyone, I have done keyword research today and found 50 great low competition and highly searched keywords for my niche #1. I plan to buy my domain right now and pump out at least 5 articles by tonight. I am trying to write all 50 articles with these keywords by the end of the week. I will keep you posted.

All the best man... I hope you will achieve your target.... My only advice for you is: don't leave it in the middle even if you see low sales initially, It always happens and you will learn by your own mistakes.

you should make shortterm goals first!, for example, 1 sale every week, then 5 sales per week, if you achieve that 1 sale each other day...

I agree with EMO Ralez. But you are definitely on the right path. Sharing a goal with your friends, family, and colleagues (DPforums?) is supposed to raise your chances of completion to 80%. This is of course with goals that are actually reasonable. 30K could definitely be pulled off if you find a golden niche hiding in the seas of Click Bank. I have recently started diversifying into Clickbank+PPC rather than all SEO+CPA. Keep us updated and best of luck!

I don't know, sometimes I think setting lofty high goals is key to success. I mean, if I say i'm going to make 1 million dollars today and actually believe I'll get there, my production will be up, I probably won't be close, but aiming for the moon and missing still gets you in the stars

I have been a member of this forum for a while now, granted not as long as most, but I have read these posts almost everyday for months and I see these journals all the time. I wish some of you wouldn't come on these threads and try to bring down the noobs. A journal is a good way to keep yourself focused and you vets should be encouraging that.

I dunno, just had to get that out for some reason. Anyway, good luck man. Stay focused and you can do it.

30000 by dec 2009 means $5000 / month. I don't think it's possible, seeing that you are starting from scratch.

However, I wish you the best of luck and will be following your journal.

The real money in clickbank I've scene people make has been from selling the products. Now that is a journal I care to hear about.
