The One Word You Didn't Get in the Spelling Bee

This is actually quite an interesting discussion that I've had at many other forums.

If you've ever been in a spelling bee, and you lost, what word killed you?

For me, it was "illegible". I thought the teacher said "illegible" and spelt that instead.
