website design / layout and ad clicks

    Right now, my site has around 60,000 impressions per month and around 500 clicks on this impressions. Is this a good ratio? should I be blaming my design? ad placement?

    CTR is less then, 1%!

    site is in the sig.

    The ratio seems to be good but CTR is low.Work more on content than design

    I really like your site and its design but its not best for clicks. You may need to change things around a little bit to help your ctr out. Send me a pm and I can explain more.

    i would replace the photo you have in the very top left corner of your homepage and all other pages with a 300x250 or 328x260 adsense ad

    and i would put more 300x250 adsense ads somewhere else on your site. you dont have enough adsense ads per page.

    okay, that's a good suggestion... but I think it's too much for the site... it will look horrible!

    i think if I were you, I would have been playing around with the desing and adplacement more, as CTR is too low.

    well then just replace the top left photo with an adsense block... it wont look horrible. my sense of your site is that there are already more photos and images on the site than there is text content. so that adsense block will help balance things out
