Hello Fellow DP'ers, We have recently launched a site that is similar to Digg/Slashdot but will focus exclusively on technology related topics. We need an original, professionally designed logo for our new project. It has to be done by Sunday. Payment will be made via paypal. Background: Site: techTAGG.com Slogan: I am thinking something like "Social Technology Tagging". Any thoughts? Be creative and suggest some other slogans. Color: Please use bright, LIVE color(s). Again please make some suggestions. Price: I will pay $100 through Paypal. If you don't have Paypal let me know first so we can see if something else will work out. Theme: Technology related user driven news content site. It has to reflect that. Stay away from other similar sites. We want to be different and we want to do more for technology users. The logo has to look professional but, simple. Must be original, no templates, no previously used or premade logos!!! The logo should contain an image/symbol (also small but, custom, easily remembered and relevant) that can be used as a symbol of the company/website (like the butterfly of MSN). The name techTAGG stands for "Technology TAGGING". Again be creative and come up with a nice logo. How abou TT for Tech and Tagg? I don't know. Leave it to you. But I need a symbol that will represent the site. I need the logo in two formats. One will be in high resolution (large image) and then one that fits my logo size now. Anybody who wants to take the job, can reply to this post with a link to his/her portfolio and once I found a suitable designer I'll post a message that the offer has been taken. If you want to take a crack at it then post some design samples here. I hope that I am not asking for too much. If you win this then I will select you to do the other small icons on the site. Like the vote buttons, icons beside the links and spy buttons. If you have suggestions for them please post them here too. It will be easy. P.S. Please, do not PM anything! social technology tagging is possibly the worst slogan ever. even if you are being completely unorigional with the website as a whole, at least come up with a better slogan. maybe "less fucktards than digg" or "technology you choose." pm me for my paypal
Here is my entry, please consider . Please keep in mind that this type of logo is best for print and web both. I will not go for glossy looking logos as they might not be good for print. Anyways.

The actual logo currently is about 130 x 130. It would be nice if the new logo can fit on that current spot but if you think a different size is better then suggest one. The high resolution logo will need to be in 300dpi (a large size). Thank you for all those participated so far.
