Really? How are you going to accomplish that with 1 mln army? Drop another nuclear bomb?

In reality, its just that US dont have anymore money to shut their mouths. Thats all. The same goes to this story:

Kyrgyzstan Says It Will Close U.S. Base
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7873866.stm

US was paying $350 mln a year. Now Russia stepped in with $2bn deal [$450 mln already paid] and the base have to pack their bags & close. Funny games, like on an auction. MONEY is the power! And I thought it was the democracy.../sarcasm/ :)

"grave crimes"? I think that was called "crossing border illegaly", what did they do in there? I could understand if they were in South K, but North?

You know what! No disrespect to you, because I dont know you. It is statements like these and people with this attitude, that are responsible for the carnage in this world. If you were given power for a day, and you had access to the weapons you talk about, you would be a very nasty and dangerous person indeed. Very similar to those power mongers in Nth Korea I suspect.

I'm frightened by what could happen if this is not put to bed quickly. Hawaii is within range of the nutcase's missiles.

    They recorded humanitarian issues.

NK said in a statement they released shortly after the convictions that they were sentenced for "grave crimes".

they told that the girls are accused for being in the country illegaly, and they admitted it themselves (thats the yesterday's news), what did they do in there? And what did you expect from NK towards americans, when its blocked by US in every field.

pack your bags then)) and pray that EU will follow you again, which I doubt.

Yeah, NK's official report, released by the official state run media outlet.

Yeah, because they're very credible, what with not allowing foreign journalists to report their atrocities.

You said it. It's called blockade, I wouldnt go there even that they have a good relations with Russia, but if I was an american, I wouldnt even think of going there ;) The girls would not go through the border legally I bet 100%, thats why they went illegaly, "hot news", now sentenced. Although 12 years......is a LOT, but considering the tensions between 2 countries, it could be even worse...

There is actually no proof that they entered the country, only NK making statements........they're about as reliable as a cell phone with a dead battery.

Ahh, I have already seen how a CNN channel is reliable on 8th August 2008 ;)

Everyone is reliable in their own interests. But its predictable since you two are enemies.

You would be from Russia correct? (as said in your location). Now I can understand why you would be so willing to buy what they say. :D

I just understand the capabilities of north koreans :) Its unlikely that they would hunt down 2 americans in South Korea or China and bring them to NK.

Haha. Yeh, they would never do anything like that:

Do they have any oil, or anything we need? if not, let em rot.

If it would be anyone it would have to be someone in the military and the results may not be better even if that did happen
