List of Scuttle Sites (for social bookmarking)

Hey,

For those of you who don't know - Scuttle is a popular social bookmarking script. Since many sites use this script, it is easy to submit things to all these with 'one click.'

I've seen a few Scuttle lists here on DP... but I believe this is the best one. I've taken all the lists, did some leg work myself via URL Harvester, and made a 'master list.' I also took out all duplicates etc. to make this list concise and all.

I think Delicious.com also uses scuttle? Anyway, Im looking for a cheaper (or free) scuttle submitter.

best way to auto submit IMO is bookmarking demon but i'm sure there are alternatives

Can your site get banned for using this to create back links ?

 

as long as you don't spam the sites with your own links you should be fine

 

My favorite submission software is by far Bookmarking Demon. You can add new scuttle sites whenever you find them. The new version 5 is coming out soon and there is going to be a price increase, so get Bookmarking Demon 4 now before the price increase. Free upgrades for life!

 

If you are responsible you will not get banned. Use only a few tags on your submissions and do just a few each day. Bookmarking Demon you can rotate the tags and anchored backlinks. It's real nice.

Yes, most certainly you will be creating backlinks when you submit a URL to a scuttle or pligg site. The 'title' becomes an anchored link to your site. Scuttle sites give direct links. The PR of scuttle sites is usually quite low, but an anchored backlink of any type is worth your time.

Just test some of the sites but found they are inaccessible or not a scuttle site!

And all the sites which end in co.cc will not be available. Those sites keep getting circulated around on these free lists and they have not been able to be used for several months now. And the group of sites starting with blog.... are all blogs, not scuttle sites.

Scuttle and pligg sites come and go so quickly. It is hard for any free list to remain valid for very long without testing and revisions.

 

which is your favoured software for scuttle and pligg site submission? socialbot seems a little naf to me
