Cannot connect to pop.secureserver.net

    Anybody else having problems with GoDaddy hosted emails?

    It's configured to my Thunderbird, all is working fine until 5 minutes ago.. it says I can't connect to pop.secureserver.net anymore.

    Maybe its a temporary issue try after some time

    There could be many reasons behind this i.e. some firewall changes, AntiVirus update, ISP's issue, Thuderbird profile is corrupted etc. If the problem persists, try to access it from another system (if possible) or you may contact your provider.

    I think it's because of an AntiVirus update... it happened after Avast update :(

    Any suggestion?

    Disable Avast in your system and check if it is working or not. If it works after disabling it, you will need to check the settings of your antivirus.

    Check ur windows host file and see whether its blocked by any chance

    If you are still facing the problem, would you mind to paste the error message you are receiving? Probably that will help to find the root cause.
