Today I found this Hostgator coupon ,it is a dp member's the site i think ,and i chose the "baby" hosting for 1 month, then used the coupon. In the end,i paid $0.01 (you know,i just wanted to try the hosting,if it's good enough for me,i'll purchase 1 year or more)
when i asked them to activate my account,i got rejected..they told that my account has been marked as fraud adn couldn't buy it any more :(
But i really want to buy the hosting, any helps?

It's their choice at the end of the day if they want to host you. They are not legally bound to host you.

One reason I come across often is that the IP doesnt match the country of the credit card. It might be too late now if you have asked "again and again". What I would have done is asked that they call me on the phone to verify the account.

If it's a voucher though which gets you it for dirt cheap then it's not cost effective to call around the world although they could get a long term client.

Just go elsewhere :) A hosting account can cost from just a few dollars a year if all you are wanting to do is test it.

Wow, this is a first. I've never heard of a host company turning down a client! But anyways, Hostgator is going downhill. They went down twice for most of the day this month alone...

It could be that the name on your paypal was different then the one on the order form. But I think they might feel that your using the coupon to signup and maybe send spam. Best of luck though.

maybe the "blogger" keyword in your domain backed them off for TM/copyright issues with google ?

hostmonster is worth trying...I recommend it through web hosting guide in my sig :)

I don't think it was because of the coupon because there are several hosting coupons available at the site - so if one doesn't work another always does :)
most likely, there was a mismatch between your IP and signup info or with your payment details. there's no other reason for a hosting company to turn down a client :)
