No. You can't use html, all but the shortest of urls are automatically tiny-or bitly urled and links are nofollow. And trending topics still gets spammed by porn sites, it makes you despair of the internet sometimes, it really does.
Twitter is a great place for the exchange of ideas however I'm unsure about whether there is real value to the search engines with the mini blog. Time will tell. In the meantime, I will use your advice and pepper my tweets with my important keywords like Search engine optimization and seo !
I thought Twitter used nofollow links, and checking right now (I just typed in a random Twitter account, Twitter.com/bob, and conveniently the most recent thing he had posted was a link!), I see that the links are nofollow. Therefore, it is directly useless for SEO, but not indirectly. Twitter truly is beneficial for garnering a lot of traffic, and since some of those visitors may link to your website, you will probably benefit indirectly.
If you are using proper urls and if you analyze keywords properly , it will give you very cool SEO, that comes with great traffic.
Yes agree to this.. btw let me ask have you heard the plurk??..have you tried using it?..does it c an bring also traffic to your site??..
I don't understand this.. 1) I've never seen any twitter pages come up in google results. 2) a. Twitter uses nofollow tags. b. Not only do they use nofollow tags but when submitting urls you have to use tinyurl which doesn't include keyword juice. Twitter might be a unique tool to create brand awareness and bring some traffic, but until this day I see absolutely no benefits SEO-wise, please explain how Twitter benefits SEO for your site whatsoever when the link bridge is completely cut off (due to nofollow tags+tinyurl).
use short domains and hash # tags .. I think contacted.org is a perfect solution to find potential buyers/partners
I have noticed a lot of people there doing that. I will try it too. As of now I just put whatever info I want them to know!
