I am thinking of starting a new blog on either blogger or maybe hosted myself, and have all of the posts be video content. I was thinking of putting AdBrite on there as a CPM media, but I'm not sure how it will do with a video blog that only has videos. Any responses would be greatly appreciated!
That is a very good idea, thanks for suggesting it. Would it be best to have only full-page ads, that way I could maximize my CPM payout?
Disclosure: I am the CEO of Captain Ad (www.captainad.com)! Try out Captain Ad (www.captainad.com). We allow you to monetize embedded videos from all the major video platforms. You only have to integrate a simple javascript in your website. We then display banners before a video starts. As a publisher you get a fixed CPM of USD 1.00. Check out http://www.captainad.com/pages/publisher to see how it works... If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me at max@captainad.com! Cheers, Max
i also run my own video sharing website and im interested which advertisers would suit best for my site?
I would not recommend going with AdBrite as your cpm or ppc ad network if you have other choices. There is many good cpm and ppc ad networks available, with AdBrite you will earn around 5 cents or less per cpm, and with ppc you will earn around 1 cent.
I am sure there are many others, but I just don't know what CPM to go with. Here are my earnings from AdBrite as of yesterday, are these poor results?
