As all these middle class Hindus who preach One Child Policy for rest of the Hindus then this is what they wish for Republic of India. Why do these Middle Class Hindus worry population growth in India and want to have a fertility rate of 1 only for Hindus. Watch the video and decide for yourself. While Muslims in India have 5 brothers and 12 Step brothers/half brothers, why should Hindus bother with One Child Policy?

Population growth is not the main problem for India. In 100yrs India Military can defend and go on offense for self interest. And Space is still not conquered by Humans yet. So Indians don't worry about the Indian population, we can colonize space when Indian population big enough or buy the Western Part of Australia. If Australians refused to sell, then Indian Army can surely convince the Australians in 100yrs. Necessity is mother of all invention. Future opportunities are boundless. So don't worry about Indian population, we are world and we are the UN in next 100yrs.

In 100yrs, if India's population grows then India will grow Economically and militarily to obtain resources needed to sustain itself. What this Middle Class Hindus don't understand is that their preaching of One Child Policy inadvertently creates Islamic Republic of India.

100yrs ago, India (which included Pakistan, Bangladesh) had about 200 Million people. Now 100yrs later, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Muslim Indian population is:

Pakistan = 172,800,048
Bangladesh = 153,546,896
Indian Muslim Population = unofficially 300 000 000 (150 000 000 officially)

Total Muslim Population, if India was not split(eg Pakistan and Bangladesh) = 626 346 944 (172,800,048 + 153,546,896 + 300 000 000)

Hindus Population is 800 000 000

Now in next 100yrs if Muslim population in India doubled from 300 000 000 to 600 000 000 or becomes the majority hell will break loose in India. India will become Islamic Republic of India, secularism will be fought hard against Islamist like in Turkey now. Turkey is only secular because of Turkish army always interfering to overthrow any government that goes against principle of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who founded Turkey. Fellow Indians please read upon on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and why Turkish army love him to this day.

Now you Hindus say all Muslims in India are educated and moderate. They wont do such a thing. Remember this, Muslims are minority in India at present and they are moderate Muslims. What would they do when they were majority in India (Look at Israel/Palestine relationship after minority becomes majority)? This is a struggle between Majority and Minority. Muslims under Hindu majority are treated well at present. Not sure how Muslims will treat their Hindu minority in the future.

Maybe Islamic Republic of India will reunite India back with Pakistan and Bangladesh. If you have any counter arguments or valid remarks you are invited for open civilized debate. Please do so!

 

but what if your predictions about India's futurewon't come true? What if even 100 years from now India will still be a mostly backward 3rd world country, but with three times larger population? Then what? You already have a ridiculous population density (349 people / square km, according to wikipedia).

Oh, and wouldn't the one child policy apply to all of India's citizens, regardless of what religion they have?

Rather than us concentrating on making our country a developed country the op cares what the ratio of religion is going to be..

That maybe possible. But the motion is already set such that future is like British and France played 300yrs ago. This time with two countries each with 1.25 Billion people scale is mind boggling. So I don't think India will be 3rd world country in the future.

Developing India under Secularism and then whole thing destroyed by Sharia Law and Islamic Republic of India? This is also possible.

I forgot to answer your important question. When you have one child policy then there will be cheaters. Needless to say who are the cheaters. And you need to task force to monitor the child policy and strict law to punish the cheaters, death penalty will not work in Democratic country like India. It may work in China.

What made you said that..With the populations growing like cockroach and about 75% Indian populations lived in poverty. I agree with you Indian won't be a third world country in 100 years, if they added 4th and 5th world country she will be one of them for sure.

 

Competition is healthy way to keep you on your toes, as it did back in 300yrs ago among Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, French and the British. Our scientist are working hard, they deserve immeasurable respect from every Indian.

India is changing fast and in few years when India gets WiMax broadband mobile internet this forum will come to grinding halt unable to serve 350 million Indians overnight. YouTube probably go bankrupt trying to stream videos to 350 million Indians happend to join broadband Internet overnight.

As population grows so is the pool of great minds and exchange of Ideas and application of ideas waiting to be experimented by not 1 Indian but 350 Million Indians who have spare time to try different approach independently. Out of this, 350 Million experiments, trial and errors, surely bound to produce at least something. My bet is on that Selection of Natural Process

 

Just with 20 years of European Immigration that allowed these Muslims into Europe, Europe that we now know today already on the verge of extinction.

Imagine India under same situation for 1000 years. India not just attacked by these people from outside but once they get in they attack from within. India was attacked from outside and from inside countless times from these people and we are still here.

Why India is still on the world map, because it stands on 15 000 year old civilization that founded on last ice age.

Get on google maps - you will see Australia is BROWN, really BROWN -95% brown - browner than even the Sahara - which looks grey on google maps (zoomed out) - by comparsion India is relatively Green - hence why 21 million people live here in Australia on the coastal fringes and 1 billion plus live in India -

I live half an hour from the coast if I drive two hours inland it goes brown - drive another 2 hours inland and its the outback (A BIG HEAP OF NOTHING) - no water, nothing - once every five years it might flood if your lucky - the only thing out there is mineral wealth. Its is long break between drinks - get the picture.

You may as well invade the South pole - at least there is water there.
