Hey guys! Does anyone know a secure good way on how to go about promoting a re-launch of a website? I am transferring all my content over soon to my new design layout (very excited), but I am currently looking for new advertisers to join? Also I want to know how to inform potential advertisers if they hop on board now before my new version 2.0 website goes Live, they will receive a discount. And my last question, my website is a celebrity gossip website, do you know of any good legit advertisers out there looking for this kind of topic? Thank you! Britty-
How do you get advertisers? Do you have a mailing list? If not you could build an email list of the people who most advertise on similar sites and contact them directly.
Launch your site with something else apart from just a re-design. Build a list of sites in your niche (the bigger the lifst the better) so you can email them on the big day with something along the lines of... "Hey it's XXX from xxx.com - Today we are launching [insert great site feature here] and was wanted to drop a note saying that I could help provide marketing material if you think your users would be interested in learning more about the feature. Also, what do you think of the site re-design?" This will do 2 things: 1) Build you contacts with other sites in your niche. 2) Let them know of your site (they may not link to you this time around, but you may earn coverage later) Good luck!
