After visiting the site, it says dugg.com is available for sale in the range of $12,500. How much would you pay for it, and what would you use it for?

I'm surprised that they are asking that much for it. While it is a nice name it's also got a few issues like the 2 g's and little use in the real word "dug".

I think the domain should get some type in / typo traffic from digg.

That would explain the large price tag. But do you think it's worth it, thinking how many people must type in "dugg.com" based on Digg's popularity?

DIGG, DIGG IT, DUGG, DIGG THIS, Digg graphics, logos, designs, page headers, button icons, scripts, and other service names are the trademarks of Digg Inc.

Dugg is trademark of Digg Inc. ;)

How about digg.com is registered before dugg is trademarked by Digg Inc?

I'm not so sure even Digg can trademark 'digg' didn't hippies used to say "I digg it man" long before there was such a things as digg or even the internet? Doesn't that make the phrase like a common device of the english language or something? I thought you couldn't trademark things like that.

Hippies would say "dig it man" with one g.
So Digg is original and easy to TM
    Like how Flickr isn't Flicker

"u" is near "i" so it may get some traffic out of the typos... but damn it's sooooo expensive!

If "dugg" is a registered trademark then $12,500 is a lot to pay just to get sued!
